This is what women politicians are good for. Cratering under pressure. Call me a sexist pig - don't care. This is just stupid. They think in corkscrews!!!

Susan Collins says she opposes voting on SCOTUS nominee before election

Time for the RNC to pull all funding from her campaign and let her seat go.

Mitch will change that mind. IF she wins reelection, she can be put on the worst committees the Senate has. She can be treated as a Freshman.

Sounds good, vote for the nominee after the election and TRUMP still gets his justice!

If there is a nomination and hearing before the election she can either vote for the nominee or abstain. The Senate Republicans really need to put the pressure on her.Democrats always vote party lines, Republicans need to respond accordingly.

Frick that. Destroy her. Publicly advocate for conservatives to write in another candidate in November. Make sure she knows she lost because she abdicated her responsibilities.

No he won't. She's an illogical, irrational woman. The country is about to go over a cliff and she decides to knit sweaters.

I'd rather have a Democrat in her seat than a RINO who plays games like this because at least you know what you're getting with the Democrat.

Time for the RNC to whip their guys and gals in line

Just like the dnc does

If she buckles, let her die a quick political death.

Do you know how the election cycle works?

Just let her seat go. She has proven she won’t support the people that elected her.

Then abstain. No way she votes NO.

One interesting aspect of this is that she never said she WOULD NOT vote to confirm if the vote does happen, just that they *should* wait until after the election.

If Mitch forces the vote and she's forced to show her hand, does she vote Yes like her constituents elected her for? I think there's a possibility...

If anything, I think there's a very slim possibility she votes 'no' - most likely she abstains. She has to be reelected to keep her career going, I don't see her completely tanking it with a negative vote. This situation is completely charged and important to a LOT of voters, she's smart enough to know this.

pull her funding, shes losing anyways. I refuse to do the Democrats, who have nothing but animosity and disdain for anyone even slightly out of their worldview, any favors at all. This would be a crime not to vote and its weak of her.

The mob won't spare her no matter what she does. I dont see the point.

She's already behind by 6 points to her Dem opponent. I predicted that she will make a play and try to swipe some of her opponent's voting base. There ya go! She doing her best liberal impersonation.

NO ... it is the smart thing for her and the GOP. The ONLY alternative in a tight race is a DEM winning which could put the DEMs in charge of everything again ... the last we got O'bamacare.
