The biggest example is illegal immigration.

For some. For Democrat politicians it has nothing to do with empathy, but rather keeping a perpetual dependent class that will be reliable in the voting booth.

Sounds like a mental disorder.
State Department and USAID are very glad that it exists.

For me, it's women who support trans women in sports. The science all there but they don't seem to care because feelings.

Women seem to confuse emotions with empathy. Not everything you feel is legit.

Maybe some time after the chinamen take over the world they will develop suicidal empathy and multiculturalism, and then take some of us white remnants in as refugees to be their pet project

Small 'l' libertarians don't have this condition. Our basic philosophy is 'take care of your own damn self.'

Libertarianism doesn’t work with a society that isn’t on the same page with core values

Aristotle proved that no political philosophy works in a society with different values than the philosophy. One of the most dysfunctional political systems in his view was direct democracy.

I used to think this in my twenties. The problem is a lot of people are not capable of taking care of themselves.

You really need a solid core of good moral people.

Even a communist system run by good people is better than a 'democracy' run by evil people.

I’d argue most people who think they are empathetic really are just stroking their own ego for a hit of sweet, sweet dopamine.

Welfare did not exist when I was a kid. People who needed help had family, friends, church and charities. Not govt.
We also didn't have people living on disability starting at age 30 because 'I hurt my back.'

It's interesting how the empathy scales work. More empathy towards some issues, and less empathy towards other issues.
