I bet Trump threatened to restrict fuel/oil sales from the USA. That, combined with the strike against the Saudi pipeline to the Red Sea and them subsequently suspending oil sales to the EU, property made their assholes pucker.

Would be nice. I’m building out a diesel 4x4 van and have lots of projects going on that’ll need my diesel truck. $8 diesel is a good excuse to procrastinate. (It isn’t that much yet here. I’m seeing very little sub $6 though.)

We'll see how much this helps. Recent reports say the diesel prices have more to do with Ukraine attacking Russia than with Iran throwing a fit as it goes down in flames.

Couldn't? You sure?
Because to anyone with a functioning brain this appears to he another American power play by Trump. Venezuala, Iran, Greenland. All of it is about the Trump admin reestablishing America as the most dominant force in the world.
Trump, and everyone else, always knew the rest of the world couldn't last without oil from the Strait of Hormuz for as long as we can. If this news is true, this is a sign of them capitulating to his demands and what should be our expectations of our allies.
