Doesn’t really matter if it’s under his purview or not, he’ll get blamed for it, the low IQ poors will still skip the turnstile and NYC will lose even more money.

The 2025 MTA Operating Budget, approved by the Board in December 2024, assumed a fare and toll increase would occur in March 2025. The MTA is delaying the fare and toll increase to January 2026 to align with the launch of full tap-and-go on subways and buses.

So the price hike was agreed to before he was even elected. It is his 4th day so I will withhold judgement. It isn’t a $3 increase it is $3. It wasn’t zero.

If you get hired to do a job because you quoted it as FREE and then get there and charge $3. You had a $3 price increase.

I asked if that made it better or worse since he ran, in part on free bus fares.
So, does the fact the rate hike was established as a matter of public record and the communist still ran on free bus fares despite not having bus fares in his purview, better or worse for the communist?
