Focusing on nonsense studies like these actually has the opposite effect. Too many people have seen ivermectin work to believe a small study out of Malaysia when there could be actual studies done in the US.

Considering they're fairing better against COVID than the countries you mentioned?

Yes.

Given the resources and reporting differences, there's no comparison to be made.

That was the point.

reporting differences
Whoa!
You mean there are differences in the way countries report disease and outcome?

Gosh, good to know.

Yet, all these years we've had nitwits quoting outcome data generated from socialized, politician-run healthcare systems as if the data was an apple-to-apple comparison with our own.

The reporting out of countries like Denmark, Germany, France, etc are pretty comparable to ours. No real concerns about those.

But, and I know this will shock you, but developing countries don't have as robust a reporting infrastructure and aren't comparable (for those and other reasons).

Either way, we know ivermectin doesn't work against covid-19, as has been shown when it's been studied repeatedly.

That is so interesting. So, reporting out of other countries is pretty comparable to ours?

There is a stat I guess I'm struggling to locate. How many fatal GSW's with coincidentally positive COVID tests have been reported as COVID deaths in countries like Denmark, Germany, France, etc?

Looks like you're more than 3 times as likely to DIE without it.

Arguing? I was just asking questions.

If the results were positive, you'd be all over this study. Now, this isn't the end of the ivermectin debate though.

So a small study, seemingly designed to fail, is what you are hanging your hat on?

I randomly took a dose of apple flavored horse paste on a whim.

Got Covid 2 days later. Had a 99.1 degree fever for a little longer than 2 days. Never completely lost taste or smell. It dulled my taste/smell for a couple of days. Had some congestion that mucinex took care of after about a week.

Was it the Ivermectin that prevented any severe symptoms?

I don't know. I do know my symptoms were like drinking 3-4 bottles of wine with a couple of cocktails...and suffering through the hangover the next day. No big deal. Certainly not end of times, and certainly not shut down the global economy. For me, a sinus infection is worse than Covid.

Everyone needs the stuff anyway. Trust me. Parasites. Everyone has em, it’s just a matter of whether they’ve figured it out, and if so whether they’ve addressed it yet. That’s a very subtle but VERY consequential condition to have. Squarely in the quality of life area. But can develop into a more threatening situation. I’m not even a doctor, but I’ve been tasked with getting the word out on this. Which I haven’t done too well with it yet. Next week’s the week.

It's fairly obvious the stuff doesn't work against parasites either. Isn't it?

It’s gotta be much more concentrated for those specimens. Straight liquid concentrate, fill up a few weed sprayers, douse them all head to toe. It’ll get em.

There really isn't a single reliable & honest study that shows ivermectin as an effective treatment for covid-19, and especially not one with a strong enough effect to overwhelm the dozens that have shown no effect or negative outcomes.

Here you go dumbass.

This study is a hack piece. We have known for months that Ivermectin (and everthing else) is pretty useless once you're on a vent.
The fricking AMA is just as full of shite as the DEA, TAF, FBI, CDC and FDA.

This I agree with. You hit the vent and there’s a significant reduction in surviving Covid19. The key to treating Covid19 for people who are susceptible to severe infection is early treatment with therapeutics, that would include in a prophylactic manner.

If ivermectin doesn't work, then why did Pfizer come out with a pill thats going to compete with ivermectin? Follow the money, not the headlines.

Right.

Probably.

But none of the patients in this study were treated with Ivermectin while on the vent.
