“The Civil Rights Lawyer” that dude would definitely have an unbiased opinion of the police right?
He's not an activist. By the books guy if you watch his videos, citing Statutes and of course the Constitution of which many cops in his videos have never heard of but "create field law" with their "authority" on legality what their police chief says.

Yes you said it’s a window into why policing is “complete shite” so the clear implication is that the problem of this type of training, not this specific company, is taught to the majority. “Complete” is an even stronger word than most. I was being generous to you.

You made this up out of thin air.

Yes. This is a window into the overall larger problem that exists even outside of this company. That's the point. It's not like this company with some giant Secret within the police world. And Despite the fact they've been exposed for what they are many municipalities are still hiring them. When you couple that reality with you literally hundreds upon hundreds of videos depicting police officers actually practicing some of these types of behaviors it's clear that this company isn't even that unusual in terms of the thinking that exists around policing in America. Hell I'll bet you at least half the people on this board would approve of this training!

Nope. They managed to train officers in groups of hundreds at a time without being exposed. So if the police officers were speaking up they were being damn fricking quiet about it

Probably 98% of cops have no training from this company or any similar one. You’re wrong about this being how most cops are trained.
Liberals are the dumbest people on the planet. We do not need to “defund the police”. We need more funding for training, not less. Most of the cops would do a good job if trained properly. I listened to a law enforcement expert that said around 20% of all work hours for officers needs to be spent of constant training into all aspects of police work. This would be a good start.

So we circle back to my initial post. Not sure why you rejected the accusation of most only to come back around to it. We all knew that was your point anyway.
As for the claim, no officer ever spoke against the training, provide the evidence. Or yes you made it up out of thin air.

You claimed that I asserted that these people trained most police officers. That claim wasn't supportable which is why I pushed back.

They were exposed by a police officer who did speak up. In other words when somebody finally spoke up it became a problem which by definition means that prior to that nobody gave a shite. I can already anticipate your response. Some police officer may be told his boss but the boss didn't do anything. Well that's not exactly an Improvement is it? Besides they have these wonderful people called journalists that would be happy to catch such a story if a police officer really wanted to speak up

You are the one that needs to grow up.
We need more professionalism in the ranks… not reactionary bullshite.

I'm not liberal although I suspect you think I am. But I agree with everything you wrote above. Defund the police is a stupid movement. It would only exacerbate the problem.

Reactionary bullshite like “Defund the Police”? LOL, dumbest messaging I’ve ever heard in my life. Polarizing and reactionary messaging.

No go re-read it. The point of my post was you were claiming that most police receive this type of training. And you’ve already admitted this was true.
As for the other thing, my claim was you made it up out of thin air and you did. Now you are changing it to say “well even if they did tell, there was no improvement.” My point still stands.

Lol. No. Not even remotely everything. And my deal with cops is the same deal I have with trusting government. As a conservative who recognizes that government can't be trusted I also recognize that the tip of the spear of government should be watched closely too. I'm frankly befuddled that the same conservatives who recognized that the welfare office can't be trusted trust the police implicitly. They work for the same people dummies!
You have bad actors in every profession. However you have many “cops” who are on the same side as you , and think as you do . It’s an 80/20 issue, and there are plenty of other topics with government that need addressing . Addressing cops is at the bottom of the list . It’s a hard annd dangerous job and I’m thankful they do it .

I think there are probably some police departments that are well run. Nothing is perfect and improvements are always possible. When police officers are well trained and the culture is good that’s the standard. More best practices training and more time in training for our police.

If you would ever like to do a ride along with me as a Probation & Parole Officer Sex Offender and High Risk cases I’d glad to take you along so you can experience just how fricking insane the streets are these days. I do must of my field work from 8pm until around 2 am. That’s because that’s when crime spikes. We want to be out there when it’s most likely to occur.
This week we had two female Officer get attacked and badly injured by a Pit Bull that was released on them as they approached a home. They both have to get Rabies shits because the a-hole dog was not vaccinated.
Once you’ve ridden along, I’d like to see a report back about how awful law enforcement officers are today.

Ahh. OK. Well my actual point is that most police officers reflect the attitude that resulted in this kind of training being considered okay. I actually find the training to be reflection not the cause

That’s not at all what he said, and your idiotic reply is just one more data point in the dumbing down of American political discourse.
