Stock market through the roof since he took over, lower taxes, stronger military and job growth. Pretty much the complete opposite of President Obama. I can see why you think he has done such a terrible job.
The economy was at rock bottom when Obama took over and it was in much better shape when he left office, however; I think people think the president has more influence on the market than they actually do.

stronger military
Is our military much stronger than it was 2 years ago?

lower taxes
Short term, it helped corporations more than anything. Plus, you can't cut taxes and spend more.
I know its not a popular opinion around here, but Obama might not have been the best president, he did some good things. Like every president there were things he did that was good, and a lot of things that were not so good.

Obama was an American hating pos that did a lot of damage. The economy was already in the shitter. The only way was up.
Bush was an American loving president that also did a lot of damage. He was a big government Democrat that ran as a Republican. He is blamed a lot for the housing crisis which was largely caused by Clinton by Barney Frank and Chris Dodd though.

I'm a fiscal conservative. I care about 1 thing above all else, keeping more of my money and getting back something for what I pay into social security (FYI I max out on social security holding every year at 130k or whatever it is in W2 earnings).
I'm trying to help you understand things a bit, but not gonna waste much more time on it. I've learned people don't like to learn or figure out when they are wrong.
I'll make one not simple point. Maybe you will think about it, learn about discretionary spending under Obama, Google the gang of six and develop some understanding of supply side economics and in particular the massive failure of the Bush tax cuts.
The point is this...
If one side wants to spend $100 and borrow $50 and the other wants to spend $100 and borrow $80 and both have to pay it back with interest, which one is more fiscally conservative. It's pretty simple and not a trick question. The money we borrow today will be paid back with compounded interest. That means taxes. I want less debt. That is what fiscal conservatism is about and one side wants to cut taxes and take on more debt faster while both essentially want to spend the same. The vast majority of the budget is mandatory spending neither side is touching. The republicans jack the shite out of military spending, the dems don't and both sides spend about the same on everything else (including social welfare). Spend as much or more and take in much less and borrow much more??
fricking right I oppose that. 100%.
Now if you want to educate yourself, go for it. I've given you some starting points. Maybe even understand when debt to GDP ratio becomes problematic and where we are at today. Learn about austerity, Greece, Spain, Italy, even the UK.
Happy hunting and hope you learn something.
Lies.
NYT
The bush tax cuts were successful, just like every tax cut like it in American History under Reagan, JFK and Coolidge.
Every single one of those administrations cut taxes like never before and collected more tax revenues than any other administration before them. Fact.
Tax revenues don't always correlate with tax rates. It's how the economy responds.
So if we can cut taxes and still collect the optimal amount of revenue...why not CUT frickING SPENDING?????

Not entirely true. Depends on your income level and filing status. Phase out starts at 315k for married filing joint filers. Complete phase out at 415k.
