How can anyone, especially laissez-faire Republicans, say this is good economic policy? This is the Son of Smoot-Hawley, and will plunge the world economy into a Hoover-like depression:

Of course, the stock market can be down for a number of things: Powell's testimony this morning, Trump tariffs, his statement about them being for national security purposes, etc.

@real has never been a stocks guy, yet he thinks the market's rise has been all on his shoulders. Hopefully it doesn't turn into the proverbial new trader who starts out very well and then loses all his gains and more, because he never knew what he was doing in the first place.
