If tapes of the interview back him up, then McCarthy should absolutely come to his defense.
Steve King is a strong border, pro-wall, America first republican cut from the same cloth as Ronald Reagan and Pat Buchanan.
Just the kind of person that McCarthy doesn't want in the GOP.

Does the term White Supremacist not do it for you?
According to the democrat party line, people like myself, Michelle Malkin, and Dinesh D'Souza are all white supremacists despite being Asian.
So no, not really.
I mean, in a country of 350 million people, I suppose I could actually find one if I looked long enough...but these days, being accused of being a racist or a white supremacist by a democrat is almost defacto proof that you aren't one.

From his own his home state
There are many more links out there if you actually wanted to google them. It isn't hard.

Not that King has seemed particularly interested in working for his district in recent years. Instead of holding town-hall meetings with his constituents, King spent many congressional breaks globe-trotting to Europe and hobnobbing with hard-right, nationalist leaders. These meetings apparently served to reinforce his own warped views of cultural purity and immigration.
King has often made Iowa a laughing stock on the national stage with his offensive and absurd remarks about undocumented immigrants, comparing them to dogs or disparaging them as drug mules with calves the size of cantaloupes.

See my response just above this. Google is apparently difficult to use if you don't want the bad news.

An editorial with no citations or direct quotes? Be better than this.

King is a weirdo and needs to resign. He is bad for Republicans and gasoline that Dems and Independants will use to embarrass conservatives.
