nothing like rationalizing your abhorrent behavior by saying "they do it too!"

Back to physics is the greatest.

Hawkins understood this.

Shocking that you would say something so stupid.

If you can link me to someone saying “Christian conservative, don’t care”. with more than 30 people liking that comment then I’ll take you seriously.

The BIble is fiction. The exodus never happened. Almost all of the Old Testament is made up. And Jesus almost certainly didn’t exist

The Christ myth theory is considered thoroughly debunked by ALL credible historians. The baptism by John the Baptist and the Crucifixion have universal accent.

The theory doesn't pass the smell test. If Christ was mythical, all the Apostles would also have to have been, as well as the hundreds of early Church doctors who were disciples of the Apostles. The plausibility of this being myth centered religion becomes nil very quickly.

Your God the father wants you to learn all you can and use it with wisdom. Any gains in Science including Physics is a plus. I am not going to join in condemning this mans non belief. That was his choice. Our choice is to consume what the man helped to bring to light and use it to our benefit now in this life. Carry on.

The virgin birth, despite being quite a banality among “prophets” and “gods” at that time, wasn’t even in all the gospels. At least get the story right.

Again that’s a straw man because om isn’t one of those people and nor am I, Christians pretend to the moral compasses of society yet they shite on everyone that disagrees with them. They are SJW of a different color and been around a lot long

I read a Brief History of Time on my graduation trip to Costa Rica. Traded a Camus book for it in Montezuma. I thought thought the book was classic. I wish he would have been a little more creative like Vonnegut, because his insight with a bit of human condition thrown in would have really elevated his work.

If life is meaningless and I am nothing more than a beast, then I should be raping, pillaging and murdering as I see fit.

So yes, have you hugged spirituality lately?

White male Christians play the victim card more than any other group. Usually over the most trivial shite like X-mas or Happy Holidays.

No, you’re not. I know real Catholics, and you are a sad shell of what a Christian should be.

It's sad to think after all that he accomplished on earth that he neglected the one thing that matters: trust in Jesus Christ's atoning work on the cross. Unless he had a deathbed conversion (doubtful), he's begun his eternity of punishment for his rebellion against almighty God.

If Biblical Principle is true, then Hawking will - like we all - move into another life wherein We will "be rewarded according to their works". "He that seweth sparingly...He that seweth bountifully...". I.e. the next life will be a scenario wherein each Individual assumes a life tailored exactly according to their former life beliefs and actions. "Many mansions"...for Hawking, likely Parallel Universes. That is Justice. And no reason to be sad.

Hawking may lose the potential for Jesus' Mercy (Karmic mitigation of one's 'works') but He may well prefer no forgiveness and instead be allowed to work out His character flaws/'sins' by 'tilling the soil'. Given that Hawking is essentially a Scientist (a seeker and observer of Empirical Truth), it would be incongruent to His nature to enter into the Spiritual/Subjective aspect of the Universe. And that is sad; being that He loses the ability to embark on a path of Feeling/Love...of the which is Subjective as opposed to Empirical. Love, Beauty and even God requires Faith and Will to exist; things that Scientist find highly problematic. Quantum Physics confounded all who truly comprehended the Principle and experimental effects of Subjective Observation on the very essence of Empirical Reality. Mere observation...changes Empirical Reality. From Einstein to Hawking...that pretty much became a fork in the Scientific road. One either accepts the Idea that Reality is (ultimately) determined by Subjective Belief (Religious Faith?) to varying and particular individual degrees, and one choose to apply that 'Faith' Principle...or one clings to the 'World'.

Hawking chose the World...and was likely very comfortable with that choice. His totally unique (we all are) Individual Conscious Essence (Spiritual Soul), dissipated back into the Energy/Consciousness Reservoir. And given infinity...it is a virtual fait accompli that His particular and specific Essence/Soul will pop back into it's proper and Just scenario.

I hope Hawking knew Love. If He didn't...that is sad. God have mercy...whether Hawking chooses to accept it or not. Book it...if He had the choice to impose the Idea of Mercy on the Universe...He would. Good enough!
