You deserve every DV you get.

Colbert was never anything but a terribly unfunny Jon Stewart lapdog.

Stewart was smart, quick, and funny. He also had a smidgen of integrity. Colbert is not smart. He is not quick. I've literally not seen a single Colbert routine ... EVER ... that even made me smile , much less LOL irl. Colbert does not know WTF "integrity" means.

Stewart went on Colbert's show and started talking about the lab leak theory ("could it maybe have come from the *Wuhan coronavirus lab*?") and Colbert froze like Ron Burgundy if the teleprompter went off. He's not very funny and he's not funny at all without his writers. He also sold out 1000% percent to be the mouthpiece of the Democratic Party, which wore pretty poorly through the Biden Administration.

He was so bad that instead of finding a replacement they're just cancelling the show all together. He has never been anything better than okay at anything he's ever done and that was maybe a handful of times. He's garbage.

I wouldn’t have minded him being liberal so much if he was at least funny. Letterman was a lefty and he was hilarious. John Stewart’s funny. Colbert’s character he created for his Comedy Central show was funny enough, but as himself he’s just dull, lame, and not funny at all.

It will be interesting to see what CBS airs in lieu of late night talk shows.

A 2025 Letterman
I once watched him every night until he got into politics. He ruined it for all of the late night shows.

He’s one of the worst of the worst. No clue how you can excuse his behavior and act like he was some alright guy

Colbert was great on Comedy Central
He steadily went progressive and shifted to full overdrive TDS once he went to CBS

I think his full “you’re never gonna be president come on buddy ha ha” vid haunts him

When did he do the schtick where he faked being a conservative, but it was subtle mocking? That was actually pretty clever. He and Kimmel became straight up propagandists. It was embarrassing.

He's been a dyed in the wool liberal all along, but like everyone else, Trump's intention of destroying the cabal and exposing the corruption has him terrified. Once upon a time though he was funny. His roast of George Bush was epic.
