Steven A - Showing his racism again.

If Chauvin were black he would be calling it a tragic accident.

Tony Timpa was a white guy who was kneeled on in the back by Dallas police and died. The officer, Dustin Dillard, was charged but the charges were eventually dismissed.

I will say I think it better for Trump to let the system work before making any moves on this. Even if Trump were to pardon him, however, it would only get rid of the sentence he is currently serving in federal prison. He would immediately be remanded to the state of Minnesota to serve out the 20-22 years they sentenced him to.

Chauvin's only hope is that he is able to win his appeal and get a new trial. Otherwise he's stuck in prison for the next 40 or so years. I agree that he is a political prisoner, however.

I'm OK with something short of a pardon.

Give him a new trial in another venue.

And while a vast majority of Americans support Chauvin being jailed for life for being an unfortunate pawn in the game, the alternate universe has made a hero of a brazen thug. And while George Floyd is celebrated the killer of Ashli Babbitt goes free, without so much as an investigation or anything.

What did he do to warrant him being in jail?

He was white police officer who killed a worthless black hoodrat on TV.

Chauvin is a sacrificial lamb. He will probably do 1/2 his sentence. Already 3 years in.

Sometimes reality sucks.

So he buries Shapiro by editing out where he lists the reasons why he is saying this?

We have jurors openly admitting they were fearful to vote not guilty. BLM was crouched, waiting to burn the city down unless there was a conviction. Jurors were being followed home and harassed.

That's not how our justice system is suppose to operate.

Take Smiths cock out your mouth.

Smiths facts were wrong.

Therefore everything he said is wrong.

So a question, did Chauvin plead the fifth or was there a testimony from him?

He did plead the fifth, yes.

With fewer concrete blocks, barbed wire and National Guard outside? Jury got the memo.

According to ChatGTP:

quote:

Derek Chauvin, the former police officer involved in the death of George Floyd, was convicted of the following federal charges:

1. **Violating George Floyd's Civil Rights**: Chauvin was convicted of depriving George Floyd of medical care while he was handcuffed and failing to intervene while other officers were using excessive force on Floyd.

2. **Violating the Civil Rights of a 14-Year-Old Boy**: Chauvin was also convicted of violating the civil rights of a 14-year-old boy in a separate incident from 2017. In this case, Chauvin used excessive force while restraining the boy and did not provide medical care.

These charges were brought under federal civil rights laws, focusing on the violation of Floyd's and the teenager's constitutional rights during their encounters with Chauvin.

So, to SAS point, would a black cop have been charged with civil rights violations agains a white criminal?

Floyd consumed drugs during the arrest, as it appeared he did, and therefore that Floyd essentially killed himself.

Floyd swallowed his stash while being arrested once before, but EMS got to him quickly. This time EMS took quite a long time to get to the scene maybe due to an unruly crowd.

Why don’t you watch the video someone posted in the thread? If you value truth and objectivity watch the video.

Just a comment. If the 3 strikes rule was enforced Floyd would be alive in prison and none of this would have happened ….

nobody was asking for a chauvin pardon

Well I sure don't see any rush to appeal and overturn a very obviously corrupt political conviction.

What other option is there? Chauvin was very wrongfully charged and convicted. Saint Floyd of Fentanyl died of a drug overdose while resisting arrest. And now Chauvin is in constant fear of getting shivved to death in prison and has already survived attacks.

I guess we're just supposed to ignore him and let this miscarriage of justice stand.

He had potentially lethal levels in his bloodstream. More importantly he had levels capable of generating Fentanyl Induced Chest Wall rigidity which would explain his panic to get out of the back of the police car. Chauvin had shite for a defense team.

So, he got strangled out while he was OD`ing ?
