It's ok to accept a stereotype one way if you're also willing to accept it the other way. SAS isn't willing to say, on average, white players are better at position X, or white coaches are better at position Y.

Also, posters are going back 40+ years to "prove he's wrong". The Lakers might be the team that beaks the trend. Just because others were wrongly treated for saying history didn't predict future super bowl wins for a team with a black QB doesn't mean he's wrong.

For a while now I’ve questioned how 6% of a set (population) could be legitimately accepted as dominant to the point of 90+% in athletic competition (NFL, NBA, etc) and still insist that all contestants are the same. The same. So I’ve had to conclude that either we aren’t all the same or the demographic is being manipulated in pro sports. I mean….it could be explained…..

A lot of white players that are very athletic often get overlooked or ignored.
It happens a lot in high school football.
I knew a white running back that played for Pea Ridge high school in Arkansas that had a faster 40 time and higher vertical jump than former razorback Joe Adams.
However he was lightly recruited and at the time, Bert was beating around the bush and didn't offer him and the next coach didn't as well.
He ended up at Pitt State in Kansas and did eventually get back on the team at Arkansas but he was so far down the depth chart that he disappeared.
It happens a lot in high school football.

Finally able to watch the video, and interesting stuff. Sabinos is an interesting case. Essentially Jordan could possibly not have been the giant he was and considered today. Crazy to think. Also, would be crazy if this guy could pull of the hypotheticals if he was able to go to the hawks at 20 like todays rules.
As for the argument here, and the debate on if the Celtics had 3 honkey starters I think it's funny how the reference pic to that team in this clip (18:36ish mark) was of the the starting 5 with 3 Whites.

Yes it is racist, but typical NBA. That is why I don't watch the NBA. It should be the NBBA. Not enough racial diversity for my sensitive white eyes.
