Where is the cut off in your opinion? Do you agree that people in middle to upper middle class neighborhoods are correct in voicing similar concerns?

Seems like an equity issue, IMO. These millionaires need to share the love with their less fortunate members of society. Build some liquor stores, strip clubs, and section 8 housing next door. Really liven up the neighborhood. Might as well add an illegal alien processing and holding center, possibly a jail not too far away. Look at all the diversity they've been lacking!

Right.
But that has absolutely no basis in regard to the Curry issue. Atherton is talking affordable middle class housing for teachers, civil service employees, retirees, etc.

I don’t remember how far he got with it, but Baraaq Obama was constantly pushing to increase Section 8 housing payouts so that these leeches could infest the houses in middle and upper middle class suburbs, just like the one Powerman likely lives in.

Steph Curry wants safety and privacy, especially for his kids.

That's exactly the same thing that middle class people want. But the MC don't have the resources for walled compound with private security guards. So the MC pooled their resources into systems called 'cities' and paid for police and zoning rules. And what they achieved was close enough to make them happy. Now the MC is being told they can't have nice things like the ultra rich elites, and they are being told this by those same elites.

Nothing wrong with it except in his case it’s hypocrisy. They built apartment complexes down the road from my neighborhood and if I say anything then i’m the boogie man according to people like Curry. Shoe on other foot - they can complain. Rules for thee and not for me I guess.

You don't see the hypocrisy in Steph Curry's statement? That's a shocker.

As with many cities virtue signaling by calling themselves sanctuaries, sometimes you fock around and find out.

I once had an English teacher tell me that everything before the word “but” is a lie.

What they really saying is “we don’t give a shite. Don’t put this in our backyard.

Exactly what you fools wanted from 16-20… correct? And has remained since?

Their hypocrisy knows no bounds…

It’s the exact same reason the Warriors moved to the brand new Chase Center in S.F.. They previously played their home games in the shithole that is Oaktown. Oakland Arena, later renamed Oracle Arena.

Funny, that once they started winning with new ownership and deep Silicon Valley $$$ the franchise’s value skyrocketed and they got the frick out of the ghetto.

I wonder if anyone under 40 on this board even realizes how the Warriors were the laughingstock of the NBA for 40 years and where NBA careers went to die?

Extremely simple search says:

Yes.

quote:

Steph Curry grows profile as activist, entrepreneur and humanitarian

Warriors G STEPHEN CURRY has “raised his profile as a businessman, a humanitarian ... an activist and more vocal political leader," according to a cover story by Matt Sullivan of ROLLING STONE.

…..he "joined the board of MICHELLE OBAMA’s When We All Vote instead." Curry is “up for taking time to make cameo appearances for candidates in places like Georgia and North Carolina this season.” He said, "With the level of influence I know I have, I feel like I’m just getting started on that front”

An activist.. full BLM supporter… Dem operative.. doesn’t want affordable housing near him. More liberal hypocrisy just ignored by the usual suspects.

Got any more quotes of support for him?

Why be so dishonest? Of course you see the problem. You just want to keep playing the role you have carved out here.

Yes?

There are lots of poor people within cities.

Poor people in a densely populated area are pretty big factors that influence crime rates.

Single Motherhood is a bigger factor.

Celebrating a culture that says its ok to be an azzhole criminal is the biggest factor of all.
