I would have brought a lawn chair and popcorn.
Don’t think so?
I brought a lawn chair, straw hat and an ice chest when new windows were installed. Told them
“I am retired, always wanted to do this at Disney Construction Sites.”
“in other words don’t screw up, I know what you are doing.”

This happens a lot in the private sector. The government sector should have to suffer the same. Maybe then they will work just a little harder at their jobs to keep them.

This board is pretty damning evidence that PLENTY of people in the private sector significantly eff off while at work. You think that all these people who post throughout the day every day are either public employees or unemployed? Talk about arrogance
lol. Talk about ignorance.

While partially true, the ramifications of not getting your work done in private sector usually result in lack of employment.

A building full of ugly fat bitter middle aged white women.
I think I found the urgent.

They've "served for decades" but can't afford to retire? Yeah, I'm not buying that.

That's a lot of people still not dismissed.
Someone from DOGE should have started walking around handing out pink slips to those who were spending time on the government dime standing around protesting.
Could have netted a couple hundred.

They have caused untold amounts of corruption in America, along with stealing money from hard working taxpayers.
These are likely low level bureaucrats like secretaries and other office personnel...not the higher ups who may have "caused corruption". Maybe people who processed passport applications. The ones who would have been stealing money would have been the USAID employees who were already gone. Still, I'm all for trimming fat everywhere except off of a juicy ribeye.

Please, tell us all about your experience working in the public sector and how you saw your co-workers hurting everyone vs. your experience working in the private sector where everyone busts their asses all day just to keep their job.
To address my ignorance, I’ve worked in both. Both have their pros and cons, but to speak in absolutes and extremes in categorizing the two is the true example of ignorance.

The effeminization (more specifically the influence of feminist movements) of the government has created more problems than it has solved.
That's not to say that women aren't important. It's just that for too many women, their greatest attribute is something they abhor. (Their ability to bear children.)
If the nation were filled with good women that loved their role as mothers and sought to build strong families, then we'd be unstoppable.
There's a sickness in the West and its name is feminism. We need to cure our institutions of it.

We've all heard countless stories of law enforcement killed in the line of duty, and many of us have seen private late night security guards literally sleeping on the job.

I would be crying too if I had to get off a gravy train that sweet.
Gravy train with biscuits wheels, a six figure no show job with gold plated medical and pension deal.
I would fricking bawl.

My taxes don’t pay for the private sector salaries.
