Because of the abortion bill.

Star Wars was filmed in Tunisia, where abortion is illegal and homosexuality is punishable by three years in prison.

Call these people out!

To be fair - abortion brings up painful reminders of episode 8.

Imagine their reaction if someone said they all should have been aborted....

I am boycotting their shitty films after The Last Jedi.

No interest in seeing Episode 9, and I won't.

No interest at all. Talk about an abortion

Since no link I’m going to guess. The ofs facility in Norcross has a ton of movies filmed at their site. They are more than likely boycotting filming in Georgia? I know Marvel films at that facility but don’t know about Disney.

Hopefully they boycott by never making a movie again.

The Last Jedi is a terrible movie. The prequels at least had some decent moments. The LJ was just bad, a political movie that destroyed 30+ years of Star Wars canon.

I gained a new respect for the prequels after TLJ

Phantom Menace is still a total piece of shite, but its miles better than TLJ

I also think Attack of the Clones has benefitted from how bad TLJ is

The Last Jedi is the only movie I’ve ever walked out of. Ever. And I’ve seen some real pieces of shite over the years.

You can’t call people out who are unwilling to to listen to their hypocrisy.

Tell the truth now: Do you have a poster of Kermit Gosnell on the bedroom wall of your Section 8 apartment?

Star Wars films have historically been shot in England, Tunisia and Australia. Were there plans to film some movies in Georgia?
