Again, I know this is a tough concept for you, but they are all referencing/sourcing/blaming the same guy in these releases

I know this is a tough concept for you, but these are media outlets running headlines saying in no ambiguous terms, "this is what happened." Which means they are placing their journalistic integrity behind the fact that it happened. If it is a lie and they did not do their diligence before continuing to smear someone over something like this, they can be held legally liable.
