I don’t know if that a great move for him. He is basically trying to run as a nonpolitical politician focused solely on what’s best for LA. True or not, Fox is considered republican by many people he will need to win.

He’s killing it now.

Gutfeld is a different animal though. He’s number one in ratings and it isn’t close.

It’s a gamble.

He did fine.

He introduced himself to a lot of people tonight, in his natural form.

Now, expect some blowback from The View and the usual suspects.

The idea that a candidate gets grief for appearing on legitimate programs is the epitome of the modern Democratic Party..

He was on Fox early this morning and he was impressive. People of LA deserve their demise if they don't elect him.

That's silly. Democrats go on FOX all the time and get re- elected.

I have to chuckle over this race.

I saw an guy interviewing people in the streets of LA and who they would vote for and I thought this one chick epitomized the typical southern californian...

"Well the city is a mess, so I have to vote with someone with experience, Bass"

Have you seen Jay Leno’s JayWalking segments or Kimmel’s Liewitness News segments?

They have some pretty dumb people out there. Must be all that Pacific air that makes people dumb.

Bass’ voters don’t know who Gutfeld is.

He's a California Republican, dude. A Cal Rep is not the same as a Texas or Tenn Rep but at this point anything will do against the communist party.

could help with donations. And hopefully more people are introduced to his style of campaigning, cause it's definitely a force for the future. I hoping to see more on here how the Paxton campaign uses it against his weirdo opponent.

If the View calls him out he can call them out for not inviting him on their show. Hopefully via a great AI clip.

Here's your answer.

Gutfeld! performs surprisingly well in California, routinely outdrawing traditional broadcast late-night shows (like The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel Live!) in key demographics across the state. As a major contributor to Fox News’ dominance, the show attracts a strong conservative viewership while also drawing in a significant portion of politically diverse audiences interested in its right-leaning comedy and cultural commentary.

The show's connection to the Golden State runs deep, and its performance can be broken down by:

Ratings & Competition: Because it airs at 10:00 p.m. ET, the show is broadcast at 7:00 p.m. on the West Coast. This earlier, primetime slot captures a highly engaged audience of Californians who are home and tuning in during dinner hours, often propelling it above traditional late-night competitors in local cable viewership.

California-Specific Content: California politics and cultural policies serve as a frequent, highly targeted subject of mockery and debate. Regular segments roasting the state's handling of the cost of living, homelessness, and local political leadership play a massive role in viewer engagement.

Local Guests: The show regularly features West Coast-based commentators, media personalities, and California-centric political figures as panelists, resonating well with Golden State viewers looking for conservative pushback against state governance.

Cultural Roots: Host Greg Gutfeld is a native of the San Mateo area and a UC Berkeley alumnus, a background he frequently references when discussing California culture on the air.

50% of California is conservative, especially northern California.

Libtards maintain power in Sacramento because of the illegals that are allowed to vote, mostly down south.

My daughter lives in Carmichael, I've got good friends in Roseville and Sacramento. California is not as crazy as most perceive them ... as a state. The ruling class, the oligarchs and the two or three biggest cities are what ruins California.

Same goes for Michigan.

I've heard variants of this argument made and my answer to it is:

-There are still a few days left for him to hit shows like The View, Kimmel, etc.
-Those shows have likely not only not invited him, but have already spent an inordinate amount of time viciously ridiculing him and his run while purposely avoiding his stances and the failure of Bass and previous administrations
-Their ratings are trail far behind that of Gutfeld's so going onto lesser-watched and virulently hostile shows doesn't make a lot of sense
-If he goes on them, it should be the day before the election (or day of) so the host(s) don't have as much time to skewer his appearance afterwards. What I mean by this is that if he goes on and makes a great appearance and impresses even at lease some of their audience, the host(s) won't have enough time to attempt to counter it with successive shows.

Pratt should lean into the Democrats experience claim. Bass has proven experience of making life miserable for LA citizens. experience doing nothing about the drug addicts living on the streets and causing the city to spend your money and receive no benefit.

Maybe I should have been more specific. Folks in Los Angeles watches Gutfeld?
