It took him a minute to get warmed up but he finally got in the groove!
Yea, the first question he attempted to answer went sideways. It was in regards to Jill Biden lying and he tried to link it to Bass. After that he settled down.

I think it is true that he’s better doing the show now than in October. Regardless of whether he wins or loses I hope he and this team working with him stays in politics for CA. They have been very good so far.

He introduced himself to a lot of people tonight,
This right here.
Republicans are notorious for not showing up to vote during primaries.
It's one of the main reasons we're in this mess in the first place.
Pratt going on Gutfeld, knowing that a lot of L.A. based conservatives will be watching. will get them to get off the couch and go vote.
Excellent strategy, IMHO.

Maybe I should have been more specific. Folks in Los Angeles watch Gutfeld?
Is your question rhetorical or are you genuinely curious as to whether or not Pratt's appearance on Gutfield might have a positive affect on his run for the mayoralship of LACA?
I was unable to find specific ratings numbers for Gutfeld within LACA limits.
However, fwiw and imho, I do not believe that only Republicans watch Gutfield ... although that may be naive on my part given that, imho, only democrats watch Colbert and Kimmel. But anyways, your question does evoke an answer that illustrates the massive uphill battle that Spencer Pratt is fighting:
quote:
In Los Angeles County (the most commonly referenced area for such statistics), as of late 2025:
Total registered voters: Approximately 5.87 million.
Democrats: About 3.00 million (roughly 51%).
Republicans: About 1.10 million (roughly 19%).
Democrats outnumber Republicans by roughly 2.7 to 1 (about 1.9 million more Democratic registrants).
There are also large numbers of No Party Preference (NPP/"independent") voters (~1.36 million, ~23%) and smaller minor party/other categories.
These figures come from official Los Angeles County reports (e.g., December 30, 2025) and align with California Secretary of State data from around the same period (e.g., ~2.995 million Democrats and ~1.087 million Republicans as of February 2025).
For the City of Los Angeles specifically:
The city (a subset of the county) has roughly 2.2 million registered voters, with approximately:
~1.23 million Democrats
~321,000–327,000 Republicans
Democrats outnumber Republicans by about 3.8 to 1 (or roughly 4x as many). NPP/other voters make up a significant portion (~0.5–0.7 million).17de4e
Context:
Los Angeles County and City are heavily Democratic strongholds. Democrats hold a consistent large majority in registration (typically 2.5–3+ to 1 advantage over Republicans in recent years).
Republican registration has seen some modest gains in raw numbers at times (e.g., +42k in one recent period), but the overall partisan balance remains strongly tilted toward Democrats.
Voter registration does not equal turnout or actual voting behavior, and NPP voters can participate in primaries under California's top-two system. Neither does voter registration equal TV viewing habits, nor ratings, during a specific time slot for a specific program.
For the absolute latest official numbers, check the LA County Registrar-Recorder or California Secretary of State reports, as they update periodically.
