This Admiral is not admirable. He thinks Trump did not handle the pandemic well. Trump sent a military medical ship to NY and LA. He got US companies to make more respirators when some of these companies never made them before. He actually thinks the dems would have thought of this?
He thinks Trump has not handles the wildfires well. Hello. It's called Forest Management. Some colleges have this as a real college degree. Governors are responsible to control wildfires.

The Fox news article is just quoting him lying. McRaven is a deep state swamp liberal and has been out in the public for years. He's threatened to run for office in the past. You can look up some of his past public statements and editorials if you want. I think it's also been disputed how much he actually had to do with the Bin Laden raid. Guy's a glory hound living off the public trough and perpetual machine.

I never said I did believe him. I mean, the guy clearly isn't a conservative. His actions make that clear. His reasons for "not endorsing Trump" read like a list of Democratic talking points.
I just didn't see the need to turn this thread into a debate about whether or not the dude is actually a conservative. I don't think it matters either way, except, as I said, to show that fox frickin sucks these days.

Most people don't realize it, but the majority of Field Grade and General officers are moderate/Democrat - spending that much time in the Federal system indoctrinates you to big Government.
Lastly, Democarats traditionally favor Special Operations - they cost less money and are more discreet than large, expensive conventional forces.
