I dont recall that but Trump fired Flynn for lying to him. Trump went out and defended Flynn about something he admitted later. I believe it was about whether sanctions were discussed with the Russian person he conversed with on a wire tap. Flynn later recanted that but that action was not illegal but first week out of the box and Trump gets caught in defending a lie...
The question that came up later on Flynn and the FBI was that he lied about this but it was alleged later that he just didnt mention it or something.
