It had not really hit me til this weekend, but It seems the inflation and rising costs of everything is taking its affect on the churches. We have had to cut some services we were paying for out or down recently at the church due to lower than predicted tithing numbers.

I’m sure this is something the libtards would love tho, to see churches go under bc the congregation can’t afford to tithe.

Who tithes?

G-d doesn't charge for services last time I checked.

Ignorance is bliss isn’t it? Everything belongs to God. Tithing is just part of our stewardship for what he has given us.

I bet in person attendance is down and people on Zoom don’t give as much.

Also, a lot of people stopped going during Covid and never started again.

The physical building and organization that is a local church may go under, but we have to remember as Christians WE are the church, as long as we are willing to gather, worship, help each other, etc. the church will never go under.

Poor churches.

The leaders might have to drive lesser cars and lease out these building they built on the power of god and then shut their mouth when the government said to.

Tithing is down, 401k's etc are down. Income increase are below inflation levels.

The people have to figure it out and so can churches.

Still waiting on that miracle many churches were talking about after the election.

Churches are going under because your members are all dying. Luckily our educational system has finally become advanced enough to illustrate believing in mystical space fairies is not a logical thought process.

If the church goes under because there is no tithe then there was no church at all. The church isn’t a building, fancy programs, or some man standing giving a sermon. It’s the body of Christ showing love and living for The Lord and can meet anywhere, literally. Always found folks with this attitude usually have the chairs facing inward instead of outwards.

Suckers. Children who can't handle the reality of the world so they pay a grifter to convince them of a fictional system of order that encourages them to not think for themselves.

I mean, since 2020, churches have been up for sale everywhere you go. COVID hit the churches hard. It's always best not to outspend your income when you're depending on the good will of others to pay your debts. I wish churches would learn that.

Call your mom and tell her you love her instead, that way you'll actually be doing some good in the world instead of wasting calories talking about me to your non existent space fairy.
