The right has been cheerleading Russia and Putin long before the Ukraine war. Ever since Donald decided he was buds with Putin the right (well I shouldn’t say that because many on the right see him for what he is and can’t stand him. You were fed this lie and you still believe it because you HAVE to believe it.
Only one side supports communism. You can maybe suggest that the right underestimated the possibility of Russia falling back into Communism, but the left is actually pushing Russia into that corner and has been adopting communism itself. And, let's not pretend that he left hasn't completely aligned itself with Communist China.

Putin’s favorite writer is the White Russian exile, and religious philosopher, Ivan Alexandrovich Ilyin.
Illyin’s most famous work is On Resistance to Evil with Force a call to arms against Bolshevism, and a repudiation of Count Tolstoys nihilistic pacifism.
Illyin died in exile, in 2005 he was reburied in Moscow, on Putin’s instructions. Putin laid flowers on his grave in the ceremony.
White General Anton Denikin was also reinterred in Moscow that year.
