Can't believe it still has its accreditation

It has the only affordable night program in the State. There are plenty who have graduated from there who have had fine careers.

Look up TTT (third tier toilet) in the dictionary and there is probably a picture of Southern Law next to it.

Closing is a bit drastic for a student expressing her 1st amendment rights, but as an Alum, I have vowed to never return or to give money.

They teach law well enough, but everyone is so worried about diversity and race that it gets in the way.

I might argue grad schools and churches are the biggest feeders of the professional activist class these days.
Ok, argue it then.
Name the churches. Show some examples that exceed the level of socialist communist indoctrination we're seeing from undergraduate programs within many of our universities.
Full disclosure, while I am a Lutheran I have a major problem with organized religion. There is a danger of what you claim actually happening ... but we're not there yet where religion is concerned.
Are there some radical churches out there? Absolutely. But let's call a spade a spade and admit it is mostly black and brown churches who hold 3PM meetings every Sunday afternoon and Wednesday night to teach some of their parishioners how to game the social welfare system out of money or to preach-up political activism.
Yet I contend that this particular segement of our population is far more interested in the money and the freebies than it is actually becoming activists other than voting occasionally.
And I'll also add that, even among those two distinct and different blocs the churches that actively urge and encourage political activism are few and far between.
I will give you the whole Community Organizer contention that targets minority churches but they have little to no effect in the flyover stats and rural America. They do far more damage in the big cities but it's already been proven that our Electorial College offsets any damage they may be doing in the overall scheme of things.
My advice is that if you ever see a church actively promoting political activism ... report them to the IRS. Do what the lefties do ... get biblical and fight fire with fire. Just make sure you have the undeniable proof to back-up your claims.

For all you people making fun of southern law grads I bet you don’t even have that many bus benches

Isnt their bar passage around 50%?
Why would you not give a dime to them? I say this because I hear the same thing from many SULC grads. Most grads talk about bad experiences there? Is it a race issue or education issue?
They are basically stealing peoples money.

Havard is a private school. Whereas, SULC is paid for by tax payers. We are in budget crisis. There are four law school in this small state. 2 public and 2 private. I do not care about the private ones. However, we do not need 2 law schools. Make LSU open a part time/second location then put it in Shreveport, similar to the medical school.

Seems to me they were promoting one of their grads, rather than endorsing a position.
And didn't the Great Mike Foster get his law degree there while he was governor?

They don't miss any opportunities to protest and skip classes at The Yard

Have you seen them promote other grads such as Rep Blake Miguez when he took a stand against big government?

That's certainly true in some cases. We have a family friend who graduated from the Southern Law Center. She has built a thriving practice in south Louisiana.
Often it all comes down to the individual.
Her success is her own and in no way elevates Southern.

I had no idea they had a facebook page until today.

I started to reply, but I decided not to to avoid sounding too bitter. So I'll just leave you this tid bit.
Most of the guys I went to school with, me included, despised the administration and received little to no help from career services, while we led the class in GPA and passed the bar the first go round.

just went to catch up

If you know a law student, hug them (with their permission), pray for them, send them good juju, buy them a coffee or a stiff drink.
If you ever need a lawyer, pay them. Don't ask for free advice or legal services from friends because they paid a sh*tload for their education both in money and in time. You don't know until you know.
This concludes your Saturday PSA
the frick is this bullshite?
and from a Southern student?
