It's her inevitable self-aggrandizement. I knew when she said she was going to law school that she would use it as yet another crutch to be a victim/hero

looks like she's lost weight since I last saw her. props for that, but yea you're right
i seriously doubt she's taking anything that difficult (like LSU's tax program, of which i took FOUR classes for some ungodly reason)
*ETA: and i'm not bragging. after i realized grades didn't matter for me, i didn't care. lowering yourself to LSU law means that unless you want to be work in "big" firms in Nola/BR, you have to be order of the Coif and that got you to Houston.
when you go to SULC, grades beocme even less meaningful.
*ETA ETA: i removed the pic

She does this in whatever she's involved with.

you know you kind of just allowed me to rectify 2 concepts
i've always had a bit of Holden Caufield in me where i hate fakers
originally this really manifested itself with me with the uber religious types who were harsh, judgmental, and fake as frick
but it's really applicable to the modern progressives (aka the new puritans)
the issue is that identity they all latch onto (whether it be the religious ID or the political status or whatever). this, like you showed above, allows people to project...which makes them fake. it's all bullshite
and i'm not saying that if you lack a full comprehension of your idealized self you're fake, just that if your idealized self becomes part of a group identity, then you're almost assuredly going to become fake

started to reply, but I decided not to to avoid sounding too bitter. So I'll just leave you this tid bit.
Most of the guys I went to school with, me included, despised the administration and received little to no help from career services, while we led the class in GPA and passed the bar the first go round.
That is the same thing I have heard from many colleagues. They said the racial tension is really bad at times.
They also told me how they deflate grades to stop transfers.

do they still not accept personal checks for tuition?
you can imagine that by the end of the day there is a large amount of cash in the cash box. My last year there a couple of armed robbers tried to steal the cash box. The campus cop, a mountain of a man we had nicknamed(behind his back) as Deputy Dog pulled out his service weapon and fired, missing a four foot shot but blowing a nice hole in the wall. I don't think they ever caught the would be robbers.

I have heard the administration is very corrupt. They should look into how their funds are spent.

Didn't know this was a thing. But I remember seeing they found tens of thousands of dollars in uncashed checks in a drawer not too long ago.

I've never had an issue with the racial tension. It's definitely underlying, but for the most part all the students get along pretty well no matter what race you were. Most tension, which I'm sure like every other law school, came from know it alls, who didn't know shite, or people who ended up ostracizing themselves.
The deflating grades thing is news to me. I wouldn't be surprised if they did. However, I've heard that the issue with transferring was the whether the other school had a spot for you coming from SULC, not the grades.

a poster who is a Barbe grad who moved back to LC shouldn't have had to worry about SULC getting him/her a job

it is time for them to close.
Time to re-evaluate all colleges and universities for communistic views and anti-Constitutionalist behavior.
Simply stop funding them, real simple, anti-Constitution, no money

Why would you not give a dime to them?
Because their third world administration is horrible. they can never get payments right, their registration is like REGGIE and they allow race to invade every topic. It gets old. Just give me a legal education without all of the BS diversity being thrown in my face all of the time.
Every CLE flyer or postcard looking for a donation has a racial component to it.

I found me a job in LC fairly easily without career services. I'm sure we have met in the courtroom sometime over the past few years.
My comment was aimed more towards jobs during school, and how they wouldn't help, or would very little, unless you met certain criteria.
Some of the people getting these great clerkships through career services were some of the least qualified people I have ever seen.

My law clerk told me that racial tensions have gotten bad over the last few years. She is a Top 10 student and they refuse to give her a scholarship because they only give scholarships to “students of need” basically she didn’t get one because she was white. Their employment office is pretty bad. I have seen some of the emails from their office. Basically, they only help some students. It was pretty bad.

This is exactly what my law clerk would tell me.

She definitely isn't the only one with that experience.
On a positive note, I feel like I received the same education that I would have if I went to LSU. I feel LSU may have been more competitive, but hey, I passed the bar the first time. Regardless of race, a lot of the SULC students are there just to say they are in law school and those people are never weeded out, which, in my mind, is doing them a disservice.
BTW the year I took the bar the passage rate for my demographic from SULC was well over 90%, and one of my good friends/study partners received the highest score in the state. So it's more the students not doing their work to pass rather than the professors not preparing them properly.

That is good to hear. I do know many good SULC attorneys that passed the bar the first time. We will likely hire the law clerk. I am just stating what she and a few others have said of their recent experience.
