We definitely need that Constitutional Amendment setting up a system for peaceful secession.

The current system is unnecessarily expensive, destructive, and deadly.

4-5 red states foot the entire bill.........California, New York

That's because the Fed gives megabanks sweetheart interest rates they would never get from the free market. That stays off the federal government's official books, but in reality it's a massive burden on the honest working people in flyover country.

Wall Street makes a ton of money off of knowing the taxpayers will cover their bad bets.

Insurance companies have been making money hand over fist from the individual mandate. That also doesn't show up on the federal books, but the net result is exactly the same as it would be if the government raised taxes on working people and cut a check to Aetna/Wellpoint.

Simply not true.....Red states with the exception of Texas and Georgia are all net recipients of federal money.....4-5 red states foot the entire bill.........California, New York.....mass pay all the bills in the US while middle class republicans in the south only have jobs because of federal spending......most of the south wouldn’t even be electrified without federal spending

This is strictly because of politics. Before the war of northern agression the south paid the bills. What you see today is a result of reconstruction. Plenty of southern states have the natural resources to be self sufficient. This go round will be nothing like last time.

This bill is a top 5 stupidest move i have ever seen. Do any of you really want me to abandon the US and be independent- especially over guns. Jeez!

Of course it won't. Most major industry in the US occurs in southern states.

That secession thing didnt work out too well the last time. lmao

But last time they were fighting actual men, not the likes of you. The pink and rhinestone uniforms of the West Village buttallion is not very good camouflage.

Why does the United States spend billions in military aid and foreign aid in support of independence and secession movements worldwide yet violently oppose any talk of its own citizens peacefully doing the very same thing via the vote? The apex of hypocrisy.

True,

We have actively supported self determination of peoples and secession around the world many times,

except for our own people.

Why does the United States believe that non-citizens should have more freedom?
