How many IDF members served in the GWOT and Operation Iraqi Freedom?
How many in Desert Storm?
Do you have any idea why? Have you asked that question?
Did you know Saddam constantly launched Scuds at Israel trying to draw them in, because that would cause our entire coalition to collapse because the Arab nations said no Jews? No, you didn’t know that. Tucker didn’t tell you.

Not when the “re-evaluation” and the rationale for war keep changing by the week — sometimes by the day in press conferences. That isn’t reassessment — that’s a war in search of a justification.

I know historically, every Muslim country hated them to the point they'd refuse to fight alongside them. I remember we had to convince Israel to NOT respond in Desert Storm, when Iraq started lobbing Scuds at them, because the coalition would splinter if the Israelis entered. And, they stood and took it for us.

I mistakenly thought neocons were mostly extinct on the right after the last 20 years. I mean in the normie ranks, not politicians.
Understand what? They havent told us shite besides ouu-rah we dropped bombs.

This is how I see people on this board:
1. Simpletons that want to set up 2 to 5 groups such as “Patriots that love their country “, “Jew Haters”, “Panicans”, etc…. and say that everyone is in one of these groups.
2. Sane rational people commenting on what they see unfolding in Iran.

To be fair I did give this option:
D. Fill in another group I missed. As I’m sure I am missing a few.

How many fricking years have we been hearing this shite about Iran? Remember when "we ended their nuclear program" when Trump MOAB'd them a few months back? Yeah. Now you war-mongering dipshits were running your mouth about how "this would be over in days". Wrong again. Now there's suggestions of troops being sent in...BECAUSE real regime change costs soldiers holding ground. Always has been that way, always will.
Here's your "geopolitical strategy"... we just did Netayahu's dirty work. The price of that is going to be the mid-terms and likely Trump's impeachment. It also has broken the momentum that populism had made under Trump on the libertarian/conservative side of the aisle. Now it will shift to the socialists and this war will give them all the momentum they need. What do you think happens then? Hint: A newly wide-open border with a shite ton of middle eastern refugees we made with this war flooding into America...many who won't be our friends, to put it mildly.
Trump is a fricking idiot. He had won. He had the formula for success and he did the stupidest fricking thing he could have done. Now he's fricked, MAGA is fricked and the knives are about to come out from both sides of the aisle.

You mean like after the week Iran killed 10s of thousands of protestors?

He should have done it after midterms.
Boots on the ground in a few weeks when MAGA said that would never happen. Bye bye midterms.

Cite it. And midterms always go to the minority party. Your prediction isn’t really a big one. Cite Trump talking about boots on the ground and then cite evidence of boots on the ground.
Or admit you’re an ignorant moron.

I know what we’re attempting to do. I don’t think we have the ability to do it without it costing 1 trillion + dollars, thousands of American lives, and 5-20 years and significant blowback.
I hope our potus delivers a real victory under budget and ahead of schedule, but I think I know enough about Middle Eastern conflicts to doubt that outcome seriously.

You mean during the Iranian popular uprising the Trump administration kept insisting was imminent?
And it now appears the military and political objectives in the Iranian War have been reduced to how Trump is feeling moment to moment?
That isn’t statecraft; it’s mood-ring deciphering masquerading as geopolitics.
