I remember when GatorAid came out for hot weather activites. I didn't like it so I stuck with the cold water. Then I found out G.A. is full of sugar and increases dehydration in hot weather activities.

The original gatorade was closer to the W.H.O. electrolyte mix. water, lemon juice, baking soda, salt, and a little bit of sugar/honey/maple syrup. I used it one time for a hangover. Works very well, and isn't anywhere near as sweet as gatorade. Gatorade needs all that sugar to be marketable.

Even liquid IV adds sugar to make it more palatable.

I am a Coke Zero recovering addict and like to watch the prices for the 1 liter sales. Last couple of weeks they were on sale for the 90’s era price of 1$ (2 for 2$).

Today it’s 2.49(?) per, but sale of buy 2, get another free. Basically 3 for 5$.

Love coca cola, stopped drinking it as often as I was this summer, lost weight.

I like it with a burger or a pizza but as far as "sodas" go, I drink water or tea instead. It's better for ya

Have you seen the cost of that crap lately? When not on sale at my local store it's like $10 for a 12-pack. Apparently nobody is buying it for that because the shelves are always full. They clear out when it goes on sale for $6.99 when you buy three, but I still ain't paying that. I switched to iced tea.

What boggles my mind is that people pay for water in plastic bottles.

Beverage Digest says sales decreased less than one percent by volume and dollar sales increased by four percent.

Never ever let someone start a debate with their "facts" and start the actual debate based on this.

another question. The DSA has slogan from each according to their ability…; I wonder who decides what the “from each” part will be? Once they get into power, not sure they would need to keep buying votes with excessive handouts. Some folks may be in for a rude awakening

This is why only property owners should be able to vote, like it used to be. They are letting people vote who have put nothing in the system as far as taxes or anything.
