Sobering occurrence on the golf course today.....

Played golf today with an ex-associate I worked with from my former life. He brought along an attorney friend of his to fill out the forsome. Around the eighth hole I found myself left fairway with this attorney. As we were walking to our ball locations we started a conversation about the Mueller report. I asked him his thoughts (big mistake) on the conclusion. To my amazement he went into a total meltdown saying Trump was still guilty of collusion!
I asked how he could believe that when the facts and truth show he wasn't? His response, which I'm still trying to fathom was, "The truth is only what you perceive it to be....you don't need hard facts to believe what "truth" is. ". I asked him what the hell does that means? He replied..." I'm a defense attorney. The truth is whatever I, as a lawyer, can make you to believe regardless of actual facts. That's how you win cases! "
Now I can understand what the MSM is attempting to do.
What kind of seemingly educated person would think or believe this? Needless to say, I stayed very far away from this nutcase the rest of the day!
