Attorney General Jeff Sessions — at the public urging of President Donald Trump — has been pressuring FBI Director Christopher Wray to fire Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, but Wray threatened to resign if McCabe was removed, according to three sources with direct knowledge.

Hmmm. So this was either fake news or something so radical was revealed that it forced Wray's hand. What's the spin dems?

Yep, Fake News floated out in the White House's counter-intelligence operation to identify leakers.

According to r/politics it’s because McCabe is setting up to testify against Trump in the Mueller investigation.

Why would he have to step down in order to do that?

Logic is clearly not these people's strong suit.

Wray was just jealousy guarding his personal turf.
Firing McCabe was his pleasure!

So Trump broke McCabe? Or did he break Wray? Or both?

Or it could be the fact that McCabe now has enough accumulated paid time off to simply go on leave until his original retirement date.

I guess Wray had the balls to stand up to Trump's attempts to steal McCabe's retirement out of spite, but not enough to stop McCabe from being forced to take a long paid vacation.

Sanders: Asked whether President Donald Trump still has full confidence in Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein, the Press Secretary responded: "When the President no longer has confidence in someone, you'll know."

If I'm Rod Rosenstein I quietly start gathering my belongings from the office right now because my office might not be my office in the near future.

McCabe left work Friday fully intending to work all of today.

He showed up and was told to GTFO!

Spin that however you want, but get that weak arsed shite out of here, and take it to HuffPo where delusions are coddled.

Right. Nobody plans a resignation for a Monday morning.

Lol, they JUST fought against this very same narrative a couple weeks ago with Bannon and it was proven false because he wouldn't have to resign to testify in any way.

THIS IS MADNESS
