Who wants to be associated with failure?

It's funny how the scripts are flipped now, Dixie states are the good guys and northern states are the bad guys

Socialism is a lost cause but liberals believe in it.

Obama was an utter failure. And he’s still black Jesus.

Obamacare is a failure but liberals still defend it to no end.

Leftists claim to try to make minorities’ lives better but have failed in every metric.

Biden spouts racist rhetoric but he’s still your hero.

Sounds like you have some cancelling to work on now.

If all you think of when you hear "Dixie" or "The South" is a war that ended 150 years ago, then you are a retard. But we already knew that.

This has to be one of the dumbest arguments ever presented. Why would any Scotsmen want to associate with William Wallace? Why would Irishmen associate with James Connelly? Why would anyone want to associate with people that fought the communists in Soviet Russia or China? Why would anyone want to associate with Vietnam vets? Strong people fight for their convictions even if it is a losing battle. I understand why this concept is foreign to you.

It’s southern. They want to destroy any competing identities.

Even as decayed as it is, we still have the most powerful regional identity in the country.

We remain, the most different. And proudly so.

Wasn't is a name given to a 10 dollar note printed in New Orleans, pronounced dix by the French of southern Louisiana ? The not was called a "dix" and the area became known as Dixieland. Isn't THIS the real story?

I expect these idiots to try and remove South from the compass rose...

I remember when they removed Kate Smith statue from the ballpark because she sang a song called "That's why darkies are born" in the 30's. But Ironically a male black singer recorded the very same song that very same year.

And Kate Smith's efforts to entertain troops during the war goes unrewarded and she is viewed in a bad light.

I think when people ask where I’m from I’m just going to say Dixie. I love being from the south, and I’ve traveled through just about all regions of the US. Little melt will do people good.

Antebellum - pre-war is racist, you know Dixie is as well.

They make the rules, we just are forced to accept them.

Song, song of the south. Sweet potato pie and I shut my mouth. Gone, gone with the wind. There ain't nobody looking back again.
