Sure. If he was aware he should have stood up. If he wasn't aware it is a silly thing to even discuss. He heard music but that doesn't mean he was aware of the ceremony.

It’s really tough for me to criticize someone that constantly has the people I hate the most in an uncontrollable hysterical outrage, the liberal left. He’s saving this country from becoming a socialist shithole to boot, what’s not to love about the man? He’s a true patriot that loves America and what it was founded upon, a breath of fresh air.

I was watching live last night and told my wife this would be news today.
Looking at the thread... It wasn't the anthem, it was Retreat being played as the colors were lowered.
Trump was not required to stand, stop nor address the colors being retired - the hangar is considered indoors.
The optics of the event look bad, but Trump was not wrong.
Leave it to left wing civilan snowflakes to melt over a non issue.
Eta... Retreat was played not Taps.

Oh for fricks sake if he did not have his back to a ceremony in the background during a TV interview and he didn't stand and show respect; then you bet I would be the first to call his arse out. I have no problem calling him or anybody out.
But it is not what happened. You are joining the OP trying to do a cheap gotcha over something as ridiculous; as if you are saying Trump is not standing right now this very second with his hand on his heart because somewhere they are doing the National Anthem. It is that ridiculous.

No one who has any objectivity would take this incident as POTUS purposefully being disrespectful and/or protesting flag/military traditions. But, hey, chalk it up to more fake negative coverage trying to belittle the President.
