no jethrine if you are a single filer making 100k a year (no wife no kids) with employer sponsored health insurance and a 401k you'll pay about 11k in income taxes throw in 2 kids and a wife, you'll pay nothing
but politicians tell you you're still pulling the wagon when in fact you're in the wagon while the top 10% of wage earners 215k and up pay 70% of all collected income taxes. the top 1% pay 45% of all income taxes.
honestly if it makes you feel better about being a welfare queen to imagine the top 1% are going to baby smorgasbords well you go right ahead.
