It's not winning. It's utter, complete humiliation. Not to mention the creation of a class of newly impoverished federal furlowees who will not be able to make house payments and utility payments, and whose credit rating will plummet.
This shouldn't be happening. Trump went full tantric, mouthing a curt "Goodbye" and leaving a meeting with House and Senate leaders so unceremoniously.

My youngest son bought his first truck this past week. At the first dealer he agreed to disagree and we shook hands and walked out. 1st dealer lost!
The second dealer tried to do the bait and switch with him. I had coached him up and told him to know his pricing, upside down and sideways. Did not shake hands but stood up and walked out. 2nd dealer lost!
Third dealer he got what he wanted and at the price he was willing to spend. Third dealer and my son both were winners!
You have to be willing to walk away and if your reasonable both sides can win!
