$150 bucks will get you a passport that says you've been vaccinated.

A week later an addendum comes out to the original email. "All employees, regardless of work from home status, must be vaccinated by 9/15."

Sounds like you have a limpwristed CEO.

Sounds like a great way to downsize for the coming shite economics.

With the employer shot mandates, does workers comp cover if any employees have any shot related injuries?

Because I want them to be accountable in the long run. I want the ultimatum. That way if there's any adverse effects down the line, I can prove I was basically forced to get it or lose my entire way of supporting my family. This job isn't some hourly wage. We're talking health insurance and our entire standard of living. You ok with me losing all that?

You’ll have no legal recourse. Stop thinking you’re holding any cards. And stop listening to these uneducated fools on this site. They don’t know shite, so please don’t base your future on the crap that they are saying.

Either get vaccinated or find another job.

It’s a small price to pay for your company to do business with the Biden’s.

I’m holding out hope employer vax mandates create a ground swell of conservative voters in support of Obama care. Allowing our employees to control our health care options is one of the worst out growths of the FDR era of big government. Giving your employer this level of control over your life is simply perverse.

Religious exemption?

By law, they must allow for that considering that you are able to work from home.

Do you not think they’ve already thought of this? HR and lawyers have considered all of these possibilities, and I haven’t heard of a single company allowing this.

And no, by law they do not have to allow for that.

Because you're lying or you haven't looked!

Hospitals are allowing for religious exemptions.

The head of my company said he considers asking if anyone has been vaccinated is a violation of HIPPA laws.

Does a lawsuit on HIPPA violation have a shot.

My company, also very large, is tip-toeing around it.
ASKING people to take surveys.
First they tried an "anonymous" survey that was linked to your network ID, then they tried a printed paper form that you could fill out and put in a drop box. Near the deadline of the second survey responses were so low that they had the pretty office girls outside asking people to "please take the survey"
We can't find qualified people now @ $40/hr for entry.

And I should just take your word for it? What makes you different from them? We all seem to post with conviction. Who's right?

My primary concern here is that it's a slippery slope at best and straight authoritarian at worst. No matter how you look at it, forcing this on someone is wrong. Especially coming from businessmen, not Drs.What makes them qualified to demand I take a drug?

No they aren’t, at least in the area I live.

In fact, I received an email that said Booster Shots will be required, in addition to full vaccination, as soon as they are available.

Maybe if you have a minimum wage job at a snowball stand, you can use that religious exemption story.

It’s your choice.

I can tell you that the majority of people on this site do not have a career, much less a 15 year career. Lots of hourly wage earners on here with short term gigs. Hell, I wouldn’t let MattMac12 deliver a pizza to me, if I had the choice.

There’s plenty of opinions on here, but it’s your livelihood. Choose wisely.
