Why would Twitter give a shite what the DNC requests or thinks? Its not because the DNC is powerful, can be coercive, change your company’s prospects good or bad. It’s because the DNC is a proxy for Democrat office holders and bureaucrats, who do have that power.

James Baker left the FBI in 2018

And? He was General Counsel for the FBI and 2 years later was General Council for Twitter, suppressing a story the FBI knew was legit. You don’t think he has connections in the FBI and DOJ? Remember this is the same guy who was knee deep in Operation Crossfire Hurricane while at the FBI. He already has been caught lying and promoting disinformation to affect an election and a Presidency. Like I said, you really don’t care because it’s your team doing whatever it takes it win.

There is the talking point I was expecting.

We know significant parts of the FBI not only did not take orders from Trump but actively worked to entrap him.

And we know from Zuckerberg the FBI worked to influence FB to kill the story as “misinformation”.

Who was in the WH isn’t the issue.

Of course he has connections to the FBI and the DOJ. Probably why he was hired in the first place. That sorta stuff is usually done for nefarious reasons. If the FBI/DOJ or any government agency strong-armed Twitter, that’s a problem and should be investigated and prosecuted.

“May we also recommend a new General Counsel for you to hire before the next election? It would be a shame if Baker doesn’t get the job, right? RIGHT?”

He really should be careful. You know there are people thinking up shite to throw at him. He'll get the Trump treatment and probably never get out from under the mountain they'll place over his head
Great men lost everything to free this nation.

We are in dire straights.

Great men will lose everything trying to get us back on track.

We should all be willing to risk everything to keep a free country for our kids.

The government is colluding with media and social media to suppress free speech.

But since the topic at hand, I can guarantee Hunter biden is not the only thing that has been suppressed, hurts democrats. You now want to play ignorant.

Did government actually order or threaten penalties against Twitter? Or just make recommendations/requests? That’s an important distinction when it comes to First Amendment.

There is no distinction. At a bare minimum, there is a chilling effect when the gov gets involved and that's an infringement.

Not concerning Twitter we do know Mark Zuckaburg was influenced by the FBI to censor political speech on FB.
jen psaki admitted the white house flagged covid posts on Facebook. None of this is news. Big tech colluded with team biden before and after the election and still do... well except for twitter since elon put a stop to it

The DOJ has an office inside the DNC legal team. The same legal team used to strike down election fraud claims (among everything else). The DOJ=DNC from a political perspective.

It’s about time someone put Bill Barr on the hot seat. Nice to see this board coming around to the fact that Trumps DOJ was corrupt

Just keeping up with the culture here on the TD political board, where every bit of information that makes me feel good is accepted as an absolute certainty no matter how dubious the source

I forgot about the whole Biden Admin colluding with Twitter to censor Alex Berenson. That lawsuit is moving forward. No wonder Jen doesn’t want to be disposed.

Elon didn’t buy Twitter until this year. If their team did this before elections and got away with it imagine what they ordered after in office. I would bet Elon has receipts.

People that yawn a lot have gay tendancies, practicing opening their mouths wide for whats coming
