So, new Mexican prez vows to fight Trump on immigration. How does that work?

I admit I have not dug into this very far. What I don’t understand is how a Mexican government fights the US government when the US is basically saying we want to better control who comes over our border from Mexico.
Exactly what is the guy going to do in this that is “fighting” Trump? How does this work?

Sounds like he is talking about encouraging invasion of U.S. soil.

This is one thing that has pissed me off about Trump. He never responds to the Mexican government when they say this shite.
All he needs to say is "So why are people risking their lives to escape your country and why do you put more effort into demonizing us for not taking them than providing for your own people?"

He will make all his citizens diplomats. As such they can come to US with diplomatic immunity and do whatever they want for as long as they want. They will even have that thing from Braveheart where they get first night with your new wife. They get that too.

POTUS has probably been waiting for the Mexicans to vote on who they're leaving, er, electing, before saying anything. Avoid the "tampering with an election" thing that way.
Now that the Mexicans have decided who they are leaving behind, POTUS can freely deride and berate the little shite. Be really great to have a couple of our C130 Angel of Death circle the Mexican Presidential Palace daily.

You know what’s crazy? I’ve yet to meet a Mexican here that didn’t love Mexico. I honestly think they’d all love to live there if they could. The only reason they don’t is because the govt is corrupt as shite and their economy doesn’t provide them with a decent standard of living. The govt there has no desire to improve the plight of its people. They just encourage the underclass to gtfo, but make sure you western union those American dollars back home.

We need to enact and enforce immigration laws within the next year.
