So it’s full day 3 of the NASCAR Noose nooze

FBI has been investigating, NASCAR investigating, security footage reviewed, security interviewed, crew members interviewed, area was in a secure and limited location, and the general public not allowed in the location on top of drastically reduced public presence...
And STILL no word on anything. No picture of said item in question. No suspects, no photos, no anything.
Meanwhile it appears that simple social media amateur sleuths have a very plausible theory. And that’s without having access to anything from NASCAR.
So:
1) If they have really truly not found anything new... that is very telling of the FBI and NASCAR. If this is a head scratcher.... then an actual terrorist event would be simple to pull off. If this could happen with no answer in a secure area... what could happen in the infield?
2) if they have found out the culprit.. why is a lid on it? Why let this cloud fester? Why not bring closure? If the answer is embarrassing now... it’s going to be double so later. And you are casting a cloud over a whole state.
3) No further answers is unacceptable. If this is true about the rope to close the garage.. out with it and own the mistake. Apologies are due. Hoping it will go away and to soak up the virtue signal praise while doing so will backlash through the people who have been lifelong fans. Also, your new and improved fans will be gone in a month after their shiny object moves somewhere else.
There is no good outcome for them. If it’s fake, there will be a fan backlash. If it’s a mistake, you should explain it and your fans who have been called racist will still backlash for being slandered and forced to watch the useless virtue signaling. If it’s just left to die... the people will get tired of the pandering and virtue signaling and they will tune out.
They better rip off the bandaid and hope it doesn’t kill them.

It could be something sketchy, or it was a stupid 14 year old who was trying to be edgy.
I suspect we'll learn more today or tomorrow. The FBI investigations take forever, generally speaking.

Agreed. Meanwhile animals are destroying property, tearing down monuments and murders in the hundreds for a single weekend in some cities and this is what some "news" organizations are focusing on. Pitiful.

If their driver is found to have made false racist allegations, he should receive the same punishment, at a minimum, as the driver who was punished this year for using a racial slur.

By not providing any evidence, they are doing more harm to Bubba than good because people are starting to accuse him of being Jessie Smollett. That accusation will only get louder and louder.

I've seen that but they have been suspiciously quiet about weather it was the pull rope. That wouldn't be a hoax just a misunderstanding. With this being all over the internet you would think they would address it.

The pull ropes on the garage doors at Talladega have loops on them that vaguely resemble a noose.

He was asked about off the jump yesterday morning at their initial presser by a reporter, and it was a non-answer.
I can’t believe they are doubling down with this hand today. I listen to NASCAR radio on Sirius a lot, and they’re still on this today. Sad....

The thing is, Bubba (nor any driver) was allowed into the garage area due to the COVID restrictions. So it would had to have been someone else who discovered it and possibly made a mistake or someone else who placed it there. If it was the door pull down that was found, NASCAR can easily clear up the confusion and also avoid blaming Bubba. They can simply say “Hey, a crew member found this and was mistaken about what it was. We also did not realize what it was before we told Bubba that a noose was found in his garage stall and before we put out the first statement. Our bad.”

Did you see the other thread where the "noose" was in place in November 2019 and is actually a tied up pull rope for the garage door? If those photos are real this is much to do about absolutely nothing.
