I know I'm largely talking to myself among this group, but for those saying "well it's Trump or Biden" - yeah we get it.

But right now the entire conservative movement in the US is owned and operated and being remade in the image of Donald Trump

and I think OP's list is a good thing to consider in evaluating just how much license you want to give Trump to set the course for conservatives for four years or a decade or two decades, as many on this board have advocated for his sycophants (Vivek) or even his children to follow him and nearly all of them would tell you right now that they want Trumpism to continue well beyond Trump's term, should he win.

I think we've gone beyond populism.

There are two things you cannot be these days: a classical conservative, or a classical liberal.

Same as Obamas. Built on deficits and stimulus money.

Just vote for Biden and stfu.

While you wait for your Republican white knight to agree with literally everything you agree with, and be able to implement everything you want with a wave of his magical hand, the rest of us live in reality and understand we have an imperfect, yet very important choice to make in November, and it ain’t close.

Well, your guy did lose. It happens. You either get over it or you don’t. Seems like you’re not.

Until some guy comes along and convinces enough people to choose him/her, you have what you have. Your guy failed at doing so. Maybe he’ll do better next time. Maybe he won’t.

Right now, your choices are limited. You can:

- vote for Trump

- vote for Biden

- vote third party/person

- not vote

Pick one and continue howling at the wind.

Correct. And it's our own fault that our choices are so terrible. One is just more terrible than the other.

Trump could release a video tonight announcing he is adopting all of Biden's policies and every damn one of you would cheer him on

There is nothing false in that list of flips Trump has done in his time in politics.

He is able to do so because sycophants like yourself and the rest of Cult45 refuse to voice your displeasure with his constant move to the left after sucking you in with his MAGA bullshite back in 2016. Instead, you're just a bunch of lemmings that will follow him right off a cliff.

He knows this and has said as much. He called people that believe what he says morons, yet your crowd defends every move to the left he makes.

Instead of finding ways to justify every flip the man throws at you stand the frick up and let him know you are not pleased. He flips because Cult45 LETS HIM.

Grow a fricking spine.

Whose fault is that?

Your conservative leaders have completely failed, abandoned their principles, and betrayed their voters.

And until they start doing otherwise, conservatism is DEAD.

All the op is doing is bleeding all over the board. Just another arse hurt Ron supporter who will help usher in a second Biden term by actively trying to turn conservatives against Trump.

Is Trumpism ideal? No. Is it better than neoconservatism or the milquetoast loser brand of elite liberal republicanism we got with Romney and McCain? Yes.

You can win with Trump now. Trump has been good at running off the old rot from the GOP. The guys on the bench are really good guys. It’s going to be OK.

Probably Obamas.

People were pissed at his spending and shenanigans. It created a void which MAGA filled.

But they already had a shot and fricked up. We need to do better.
