If your ilk paid your fair share in taxes , we might have enough money to help third world shitholes.

I don’t have a problem aiding those in need after a natural disaster. As long as the funds and resources are managed well, I’m okay with it. There are far worse things for the government to spend money on.

Don't help the Bahamas, but take Greenland by force

When Haiti got leveled a few years ago, Americans led the globe on donating through private charities to rebuild it. Americans are the most charitable people in the world. I donate thousands of dollars a year to a charity that does global campus missions work. I know the people who run that charity so I trust that they'll spend my money wisely. They also send me monthly updates on their work.

You can send your money to whichever charities you believe serve the best causes. But you don't get to steal my money and give it to a charity of your choosing. That's not charity at all.

This!

Wife asked me earlier today what the US benefited from Puerto Rico being a "territory". I replied "It gives the taxpayers something to fund."

Its ridiculous....

We’ll never get Greenland for the exact reasons everyone seems to want it. They’re not stupid, the money is in the lease, not the sale. If they play it right, they’ll have the highest income per capita in the world in 50 years.

You want to blow off the Bahamas? What are you going to say when China sails a relief fleet into the Carib? Or Russia? And you really want to “take” the Bahamas from the British? There’s no upside to that move.

Isn't this what the clinton initiative lives for?

Damn , I just thought you were another Liberal loser who came from a bad home and needs help from us hard workers.

But , you are just flat out stupid if you've paid multi millions in taxes , because an intelligent person isn't a sorry arse Democrat.

Since you are wealthy , and like to give OTHER PEOPLE's MONEY away , it's time for you to man up.

Write a check for a million dollars to the third world shite hole "Bahamas" and post a pic of it here.

Man up for once instead of giving my money away.

The first "outside" people to reach Chalmette after Katrina? It wasn't FEMA, or the baptists, or the US Military.

It was soldiers and sailors from the Canadian military.

I have no problem with us helping out another country in a time of need, especially with manpower.

Probably quite a bit. Not sure why we should be on the hook for any place we cannot travel to without a passport.

Per capita income difference between Bahamas and Florida is $1500.

Yeah, but I guess you’re right. Florida is a shithole.

You're right , Florida is a shithole , all because of Northeastern Liberals and foreigners who can't speak a lick of English.

The Bahamas are British territory. I assume we are helping our closest ally by providing humanitarian aid since we are so much closer. I hope the vast majority of the cost will be billed back to the Brits.
