As far as antibodies, yes. But it is a mistake to say they are "essentially unvaxed". They still have the blueprint which speeds up the immune response.
There really is no need to get boosters unless you are highly vulnerable. All the boosters do is cause a temporary rally of antibodies which fade away. The original vaccine is valuable because it installs the T-Cells. After that, there's not much reason for a booster, and there's no reason for a vaccine if you caught covid and had symptoms.

Same. It tagged our entire (large) Christmas gathering except the Cleavers. Thankful we’ve avoided the jab and let the prior infections run their courses .

At the end of 2020 the CDC was estimating that 85 million Americans had already had covid. That was after 9 months of the pandemic. A year later I have to guess it's more than twice that - perhaps 190 million.

My far left brother was vaxxed and boosted. Kept taking verbal jabs at me as well for my stance as unvaxxed and relying on vitamins as I have for years. His whole crew was vaxxed as well, two sons, wife…they all got sick. Me? Still cruising right along.

The mortality rate is very similar between vaccinated and unvaccinated once they’re infected. What was keeping the vaccinated from dying was that they were less likely to be infected.
If the infection rates get closer, the overall mortality rates will as well.
The good news for the vaccinated is that they’ve been protected until the infection that they are more likely to get looks like a less severe disease from a hospitalization and death standpoint.

At 6 months, the JnJ had almost a 0% efficacy in the VA data. That’s essentially unvaxxed.

Of all the people I know, the vaccinated, and especially the boosted, are less sick.
Only a real study would draw correct conclusions. These stories on the internet are useless.
This whole thing is becoming a global case of insanity. We need to move on, stop talking about it, never get tested for it, and live with it. Therapeutics will be the answer. And like someone said earlier, the anti-vaccine crowd is just as aggravating as the vaccine nazis.
