A state Kommunist Harris carried…. Virginia is lost until we relocate federal agencies.
US Fish and Wildlife Service should relocate to West Monroe for example.

Just wasted millions of dollars and caused hardship to Americans for absolutely nothing
They got some key election wins with, with much help from their friends in the mainstream media saying it was Republicans shutting the government down.

Same as Republicans in past shutdowns. All the drama and posturing for what amounts to nothing tangible......just headlines and name calling.

May have riled up the base to insure there were no election problems for them in New Jersey and Virginia.

The House CR fully funded SNAP and maintained the spending levels from the previous year’s budget which was from the previous administration. The fight was over ACA subsidies that the previous administration added and put a sunset date of 12/31/25 because it was supposed to be a temporary deal.

So the exact number of democrats required will vote for the same deal they refused a month ago. I can't wait to see Hakeen sperging out on CNN at the gym this morning

As I understand it, the Democrats got the Republicans to agree to vote on ACA subsidies. Looks like a strategy to get them on record prior to the midterms next year.

I believe the vote will be in one month, December 2025, before the ACA subsidies expire on 1/1/26.

... actually ...
do you really want to know why all the massive amounts of bellyaching about Obamacare ???
... because if Obamacare goes away and all the premiums go away the media loses their funding ...
That's right , this fight was for the media
They didn't want to lose their paychecks ...
A large percentage of those premiums goes towards funding the media

Two issues....
Many blue cities have shifted their employee health plans to obamacare. If those subsidies do not continue the burden shifts back to the cities payrolls and will cause intense shortfalls in funding.
The second piece is medicaid/care reforms put in place to stop the fraudalent claims by states, Cali alone is nearly 10 billion. Its what they then used to fund illegals health care. They charged a "tax" to providers, claimed that tax to the fed govt matching funds, returned the tax to the providers and kept the fed money.
The fraud in our govt is just absurd both fed and state.

I care just as much as SNAP recipients care about obesity and diabetes. So not much, really.

They were going to win that anyway.
Last time they lost Virginia during a Republican Presidency was 1973.

No it didn’t…..keep telling yourself that myth.
