Louisiana native but non-resident here, so I really don't have a dog in this fight except in general terms.

That said, it kinda blows my mind that Louisiana baws and girls didn't/couldn't run a communications campaign on the 4 'vote flippers' to scare them back into line.

I know that one response will that you can't outdo whoever or however they were bought off.

But, c'mon man!, political hacks are cowards that will hide under their desks in fear if you start crushing them with calls, emails, texts, and social media rants...

Okay -- Since this isn't a problem and no FREAK has tried to compete against girls, then what's the harm in passing it when it doesn't affect anyone?

Passing unnecesssary laws.

What a strange, strange world we live in... when Republicans - the party of "shrink government to the size where it can fit in a bathtub... and then drown it" wants to pass laws that don't affect anyone.

Tranny sports don’t affect the sheriff’s coffers, which is why that one made it through.

Anyone who votes to let boys compete in girls sports is a total dumbass. I dont need to know anymore about them to say that.

I find this to be a very odd stance.

Would it not be more telling if the trans athletes competed with their biological sex?

Basically “check me out, I chopped my Peter off and I’m still whipping your arse.”

You guys are electing the wrong sheriffs. Police will almost always line up to take your guns; you have a direct say (in most places) in who runs your sheriff's department. Choose wisely.

The LHAA wouldn't have done anything about it.

We don't have trannies. We have boys and we have girls. That is what they are no matter what they think or how they dress.

You will be disappointed. Republicans are weak.

Franklin Foil = POS

This one really surprised me. He voted yes on trans bill before and flipped. His district is very conservative, but it's also well educated. Maybe he is thinking they are more progressive on this issue? If he had consistently voted against both times maybe he could get away with it.

But he flipped and that looks like he either caved to pressure or got bought off. Neither is a good look for a senator who isn't term limited.

And personally I like Foil. I think he is a good guy. But this just looks bad.

Yea.. looks bad. It is bad. This is about the worse thing a politician can do outside of a scandal.
