Lower taxes and less government regulation...what’s not to love? Unless you love big brother stealing your lunch money and bending you ever for a daily lubeless anal reaming.

So 7 + 1 tax brackets, no closed loopholes, what is there to like?
You mean besides doubling the standard deduction and lowing the rate???
Those two things alone, even if your info dump were correct, are enough to like the plan.
OR - are you upset that the filthy rich libbers in CA and NY might lose some of their deductions for their million dollar houses????
wait - aren't you supposed to be FOR soaking 'the rich??"
It's hard to keep up with the swerves of the clown car driven by DEM ijits.

My favorite part is the repeal of the healthcare mandate.
It will save me by far the most money as I can obtain catastrophic insurance (which is all I want) that otherwise wouldn't be acknowledged by Obamacare.
Now that you've gotten numerous legitimate responses (and admittedly some boneheaded ones), why don't you tell us the part you hate about it?

WTF?

Right on cue. Obamacare wasn't rushed through. It went through the normal legislative process.
And it was still far from perfect.
You mean it too 18 months to get all the $$$ allocated to the various kickbacks required to purchase the votes.
Not even the DEMs liked it but Obama was black so they had to vote for it.
Everything the GOP said was wrong with it has come true - not one thing promised by it has eventuated. = except for encouraging more illegal aliens to flood to the system (not a headlined purpose of the bill but certainly one of the prime reasons it was concocted)
GOP were ignored - no inputs requested - told = "elections have consequences" = "sit at the back of the bus"
While the DEMs used every procedural trick they could to get it passed.
otherwise knows as "normal legislative process" (when DEMs control the levers)
to wit:
quote:
1. In order for the Dems to succeed in their plan they needed 60 Seats in the Senate to make a super-majority, so they convinced Arlen Specter a Republican to switch parties.
2. Then because all spending bills must originate in the House of Representatives the Senate took the House Bill H.R. 3590, a bill giving housing tax breaks for service members (nothing to do with Healthcare) and rewrite the bill to be a healthcare bill.
3. On December 24, 2009 the new bill will passed by the Senate.
The date is important because in Nov Scott Brown (Republican) was elected Senator replacing Ted Kennedy but would not take office until Jan 2010.
So in Jan the Dems would only have 59 Seats and no longer a super majority..
4. Then the new bill is sent back to the House
The normal process the bill would go to committee get changed voted on and then go back to the Senate where the Bill might have been stopped by the Reps.
But instead of following the normal process the House Dems decided to vote on Senate bill as is.
This way it would not have to get back to the Senate and the President could sign it as is.
5. The House passed the Senate bill with a 219–212 vote on March 21, 2010, with 34 Democrats and all 178 Republicans voting against it.
6. Obama signed the ACA into law on March 23, 2010.

No, it didn't. Nobody was allowed to read it before it was passed, remember?
It was introduced in the House in July of 2009. It wasn't signed by Obama until March 2010. It went through several town halls, mark ups, floor debates.
I'll concede the normal legislative process wasn't entirely true since Dems did have to end up using the reconciliation process to get it passed. But the process it went through to passage isn't even comparable to this tax bill. And even with the vetting ACA went though, there were lots of unintended consequences. If you don't think there are going to be unintended consequences and massive loopholes in this tax bill, you're being willfully ignorant.

Yes, I conceded that point. I admitted my inaccuracy. Thanks for pointing it out for me again.

You mean the Bill that many Dems lied about and others cut many of the town halls out of their schedule because of the backlash.
So much dishonesty in the garbage you are trying to share here. Just as dishonest as those who passed and signed the bill into law.

Well I like it because it lowers my tax bill a couple grand. It also makes my billable rate go up and in turn my salary go up. It also makes you cry
