Because he drew back the curtain on corruption both here and around the world. He put information in the hands of the American people, that would have never seen the light of day otherwise. Think about this one little part of it: If it weren’t for Wikileaks, socialist democrats could still be claiming that the Russians hacked Hillary’s illegal server. We might even think Seth Rich wasn’t killed by the Clinton Crime Family, not that anyone will ever be charged with his murder. But at least we know Hillary murdered him.

That just makes Trump look more pathetic trying to avoid responsibility.

The White House counsel is not the end all be all for pardons. The pardon happens only if the President wants it to happen, not some lawyer in the West Wing.

The buck stops with the President.

Because it's become more and more apparent that there is shadiness in our government kept from the light of everyday people, the thought to some is that someone willing to fight to shine light on that shadiness is good for all.

It's not about simping for the GOP personally, it's about looking at the big picture and wanting a mechanism in place to block and kill shitty legislation that will frick over the working poor and middle class.

The GOP sucks sure but control of the committees is important and we're going to get a reminder of that for the next 2 years.

Democrats may not have been able to get good legislation passed after they won the house in 2018 but they were able to make the last two years of the Trump presidency a living hell for Trump simply because they had the speaker's gavel.

Yeah, no shite. DallasTiger11, this is what it's like to partially functioning brain. You encouraging people to stay at home in Georgia and/or not going to vote yourself (I see Dallas, but you have moved there), then you're not only stupid but deliberately put Trump over your country which makes you a traitor, especially when Trump told you to go vote for them.

I’ve argued with both of you about this endlessly. Agree to disagree. You two play the lesser than two evils game. I look at the even bigger picture that the GOP has to be completely destroyed and rebuilt for anything to change

I never encouraged anything and don’t live there anyway. And also you’ve been around long enough to know my opinion on Trump so idk wtf you are talking about with him. My opinion on the GOP has nothing to do with Trump and this election

The very nature of this thread should drive him that point.

A thread about enough senate RINOs threatening to join democrats and convict Trump in an impeachment trial if he pardons someone is precisely that point.

Impeachment never happens in a GOP house because it would never be brought to the floor no matter how much the RINOs and democrats want it because it would've been killed in committee as Trump loyalist republicans outvote the RINOs and democrats.

No you let your hatred for the GOP encourage the surrender of MY civil liberties. Some idiot poster compared staying at home was comparable to the 300 at the Battle of Thermopylae. Yeah you're going to get your wish with the fall of the GOP and see Athens burn, but what you didn't think about is they're going to rape, murder, and burn Sparta as well. Hey hope the flames of the GOP keep you warm for short while when the Left takes everything from you.

The leader of the GOP in the house, Kevin McCarthy, flat out said that he opposes impeachment and would've never brought it to the floor and did everything he could to kill it in committee.

It's never brought to the floor, there's nothing for RINOs to threaten Trump with.

Control of the committees is important.

They do not deserve my vote just because they are marginally better than the awful Dems. Sorry if this offends you

The GOP basically did nothing for you. I'll admit that, but the only thing they were good for is being a wall against the lunacy of the Left taking power. The people in Georgia that stayed at home and people like Lin Wood who encouraged this have knowingly destroyed it, and we are now fricked thanks to that. The barbarians are behind the walls, and we're done now.

I wouldn’t sacrifice my family’s safety for this country. It’s owned by globalists and the Chinese.

You people expect way too much.

About staying at home for the fricking Georgia election? I'm sorry, but you're a fricking moron if you thought that was a good idea and listen to Lin Wood. What's going to come of it? If they pack the fricking court, then there needs to be permanent logo beside each and every mouth breather that encouraged surrendering the Senate to Kamala Harris.

You’re a moron if you thought it wasn’t going to be rigged regardless of turnout

What does it hurt to at least go vote in case you were wrong? No downsides to it even if you're right. If you're wrong though, you knowingly handed over our country to a bunch of authoritarian lunatics.

I did vote but I still knew what was going to happen.
