Multiple friends in Palo Alto are paying for security detail BUT WHY in the hell does she need multiple gofundme sites to pay for her security detail? Its already been paid for.

You're missing the purpose of Mitchell's questions. Those questions were drafted by GOP senators and likely fleshed out by Mitchell. They're not necessarily to impeach Ford, as there's little to impeach given she's offered zero evidence. They highlight to Collins/Murkowski how dishonestly Dems ran process.
Why is that important? Because the manner in which Democrats have handled this suggests motives contrary to justice for an alleged victim. Rather, at each step of the process, they sought to hide facts/evidence from the Senate, and delay testimony, all the while leaking to media.
There is no actual story to poke holes in. There's a lone allegation from three decades ago for which there's no evidence, no contemporaneous statements, no forensics, not even a time, date, or place, and all individuals named as witnesses deny it.
