Note that she ducks after the shoe already passes her. If that is an example of her sniper fire dodging skills I'm amazed she survived Bosnia.

While I agree she didn't dodge anything, it's understandable why her reaction was delayed.
Audience was clearly in the dark while she was on stage with lights in her face. Most people wouldn't have seen it coming, and it doesn't appear she was looking in that direction anyway.
I did find it funny when she asked, "was that a bat?"
