Really is disappointing Desantis is lynching his political future via pussy whip.
I really like him, but sucks he didn't mentor someone else to take over for him, other than his wife. Sad.

Talk about squandered political capital. RD has now made two unforced errors, not to mention the fact that he showed the nation in 2023-2024 that he was definitely not ready for prime time.
Take away 1) the premature presidential run (which would've erased the bad showing), and 2) this obvious act of nepotism, and RD would've still been very strongly in the running for the 2028 nomination. As it stands now, Vance is the front-runner and DeSantis is damaged goods at the national level.
