Absolutely positively not. Never, not ever. They are, by default, not trustworthy. They are too powerful and too power hungry. They care not about keeping their country and our citizenry safe and lawful and this Comey and McCabe thing have proven that by exposing just the mere tip of the iceberg of their decipt and corruption.

More than one can trust CIA/FBI!

Can't even trust Govt. agents to stay 6 feet under as long as their heads are still attached.

Absolutely not! Not the rank and file, not the top levels, not the janitors or secretaries, not even their 3rd cousins!. They have been shown to be the enemy of the people, as well as the media, and should be treated as such!

No, I don't think they'll ever be trusted again. And their fall from grace is justified, permanent, and very well earned.

FBI leadership reminds me of politician Generals. Sure, they made it up the ranks, but they sold their souls for advancement and can not be counted on to do the right thing once they are in power.

James Hosty was the FBI agent in Dallas that was in charge of watching Oswald. What happened there?

FBI can be trusted at the lower investigatory levels, like if a local bank is robbed the local agent(s) is probably a decent fellow just trying to do his job well. At the administrative level, hell no.

The CIA can't be trusted for anything at any level.

This. The FBI satellite agencies are good people, from my experience with a few. They're hard working and quality investigators for the most part.

Otherwise, call on the US Marshals for all your federal law enforcement needs! We're the best at:

- prisoner transfer
- chasing people
- looking cool because we can wear street clothes
- not being political
- not interfering in elections for our own government
- not attempting coups against our own president

And so much more!

Give the next Marshal you don't see because they blend in to society a firm handshake and thank you!

Think of the sad reality of our situation. The Obama Marxist years followed by the Great Crackup of the Democratic Party has turned America from a “ High Trust society “ to a “ low trust society”. Only in our dealings with each other in Red State America do the old rules apply. The State apparatus, Urban America, Coastal elite America are now decadent and rotting from the inside, both literally and figuratively.

Think of it this way - what did we used to call a real straight-arrow guy with integrity? A Boy Scout. Now they have been routed by a corrupt culture and the term no longer really exists. An FBI agent was above reproach. Now if one showed up, I’d expect There is a good possibility he would be a corrupt ideologue . The CIA is even worse.

The Left has succeeded in destroying our American traditions, principles, ideals and Institutions. And how we feel about them. We had thought President Trump would be a RESTORATION but instead he was the corrupt motivation for a COUP.

Trump isn't using the FBI to investigate any of this Ukraine crap. He knows they cannot be trusted. Wray does nothing but classify documents Trump needs in order to keep them away from document requests.

When have either of these agencies been trustworthy?

The CIA has been corrupt since its inception. Drugging citizens, carrying out extrajudicial executions and coups, running drugs and guns.

So has the FBI. The first head of the FBI and longest serving leader used the agency as his personal blackmail force. Even the lowest FBI agents, like most prosecutors, care more about their record than the truth. They will happily put away a guy they know is innocent if it makes them look good. As a defense lawyer once told me, the job of law enforcement is to get convictions, not find the truth.

Nail on the head right here... and those guys did the same things these "politician" employees do to advance, including getting some of their own folks killed or selling some of their own down the river for advancement...

I always laugh when someone, especially a Dem holds up a 4-star as the most honorable of the honorable... The more stars, the more politician they are...

N-E-V-E-R talk to the FBI or any cops anyway. They are NOT your friends. Just give them the Dave Chappelle treatment and "take the Fif".

Let your attorney do ALL the talking, I don't care if you are as innocent as the new fallen snow, they are looking to pin something on someone and you'll do as nicely as anyone.

Be polite, but tell them I only speak through my attorney, and have a nice day gentlemen.

No doubt in my mind that there are many, many trustworthy rank and file FBI agents ... but as I don't know which agents they might be, I tend to distrust them all now.

CIA, I've never trusted; they're too clandestine.

The idea that the rank and file of these two organizations are good people is one of those euphemisms in American politics that makes me sick.

The CIA is evil. It is the world's largest purveyor of state-sponsored violence. And the FBI has systematically violated the constitutional rights of those deemed enemies of the state since its inception. These agencies are rotten to the core. If you want to work for them, count yourself in with the evil.
