re: Should race matter to Christians?

No, you should love them for who they are. That’s what Christ would have done (as written in the Bible.)
Loving someone means caring enough about them to tell them to turn from their sins and embrace Jesus for eternal life. Accepting their sin is actually hating them.

I only commented about concern for a growing number of people who are importing non-Christian religion
There are concerns with Islam given their recruitment/conversion strategies, historically.
But Hinduism is pretty insular and I don't think really recruits outsiders into the religion, similar to Judaism. If it's only Indians and their progeny supporting Hinduism, it will have minimal, if any, impact on Christians in the US. More Indians isn't going to create fewer Christians.

The “replacement” conspiracy theory is about being conquered (according to the Twitter nutters.)
Having more Asian and Hispanic people isn’t that.

Deliberately importing 3rd world dependents who are here to vote themselves your money such that the white population has been drastically reduced while every other race has increased is actually exactly that.

Latinos already in America having more babies than white people isn't "importing" anything

That's due to Latinos/hispanics and low birthrates of white people.
Indians are in no way relevant to that shift.
Agreed

How would that happen?
It's a hypothetical, it really doesn't matter how

That's what I'm getting at. I appreciate your reply.

Yes, in fact 22 states are suing trump as we speak because he said immigrants who were seeking benefits were being banned from entry.

I don’t understand what issue is raised by that photo. I see fans of various races and/ or ethnicities.so what? UT is a school with a large student body from many places and backgrounds. That’s hardly surprising. Is it supposed to trigger discomfort in some folks?

As a Christian we are taught that everyone is made in the image of God which means every person should be treated with dignity, fairness, compassion, and respect, regardless of race, nationality, religion, legal status, or political beliefs.
That does not mean agreeing with everyone’s beliefs or supporting every immigration policy. Christians can support secure borders and responsible immigration laws while still treating immigrants as human beings rather than as statistics, threats, or targets for insults.
If they're illegally here then the laws we have in place should address that. ICE has the right to locate people that are in this country illegally and deport them, but it should always be done in a humane way. People will disagree on what is humane though.

So you have no issues with non-dependent, productive Indians being "imported"?

They will destroy the culture in the cities they take over and vote for communists, so…yes, I have a massive problem with it.

quote:First, my concern isn't strictly that Christians are going to convert to Hinduism. It's more about more and more non-Christians coming into the country. I would like to see Christianity continue to grow in this country, not import more and more non-Christians. It's just more obvious that they are likely non-Christians when they look like they come from a very much non-Christian country. As a Christian, that's my biggest concern. Not skin color.

Second, while Islam is still a minority religion in India, within the next 50 years, India will likely be the country with the highest total of Muslims. There are roughly 200 million Muslims in India right now. While I don't know how many Indians coming to America are Muslim, there is a good chance that many are Muslim rather than Hindu, so the concern about Indians being focused on Hinduism denies how many Muslims there are in India that could be being brought to America. Muslims are certainly a bigger immediate danger, and they are growing in India with millions over there already.

They do the same thing as progressives. Once one gets in, and works their way up to any kind of leadership position, they will only hire their own.

Sending all the Mexicans back isn’t helping. Latin America is 85-90% Christian whereas US is only 65% and dropping.
